THE HONEST AND TRUE REVIEW

I decided to choose this course because it includes both electronics and computer subjects. So that I can apply for both electronics and computer subjects for placement. programming languages tools and technologies (e.g. Python, C lang, C++, MATLAB) included. Also, foundational subjects like Digital and Analog Electronics, Microprocessors, Circuit Theory and Computer Architecture covered throughly. Program include sufficient Lab Work,Real World projects and Internships. Generally exams are conduted three monts after the semester has stared. Then there are other sessionals after one month and finally the semeser exams after that.

The placement rate of this university is well. the highest pacakge offered is 45 lpa this year which is offered by Adobe company. A student in the fourth year becomes egligible for campus placement. It also depends from on which branch you have opted. Computer science, CS with Data science offers a fabolous placement. however, IT provides a little less. Electronics related branches like Electronics and Computer, Electronics and communiction offers a good placement. In this university, Electrical provides very less incampus placement, but Mecanical offers a good placemrnt. Almost 75 percent students are placed in campus. Companies like Amazon, Google, Samsung,Adobe,etc visit the campus and select students.

The course fees offered per semester is approx 60000. Therefore, the total fees per year is approx 120000. It is same for all branches in btech. Only there is a minimal change like 10000 varies for mechanical and civil. Also there are various scholarships available especially for girls like bharti,reliance and many more.

In terms of fests and festivals, this college is not the place. There is only one fests that is held in a year that is ethnic day. However, there are many clubs and cells available in which a student can enroll and can learn skills. There are tech related clubs, E-cells and dance and singing clubs also. There are also different cells for social Service which teach illiterate, needy kids in nearby parks and gave them food and clothing. the library in the campus is not so large and not so small. But all the books are easily available in the library. facilities provided in the classroom are okay okay. There are no ACs in the classroom. But the labs re fully air conditioned. Sports are given importance and they take all sports person to other colleges like IITs for competitions and all.

Hostel facilities are good. there are 4 girls in a single room, along with that an almirah, a study table is provided to each individual. the quality of messfood is good. There is a proper mess shedule accordin to which items are made. the mess is completely vegetarian so it will be great for vegetarian students. For the registration process, a person has to leave an application for hostel facilities. Once after the hostel is alloted, the fees should be submitted in the form of DD.

I applied for other colleges as well.I got an addmission in HBTU Kanpur but I opt for this university because the placement status and many other things are better in this college. Also, this is top ranked university in whole haryana. Also I got admisssion in Dayalbagh Educational Institute, which is also a government college in Agra. I also got addmision in IISER BHOPAL ehich is top ranked college just like IITs in the fields of resarch. So, despite being getting addmitted in other colleges as well, I chose YMCA Faridabad. And I am fully satisfied with my decision as this university meet the expectations of a student.

The faculty members are supportive and encouraging. The faculty to student ratio is approx 1:70 that is 1 teacher per subject for a whole class. Also, there are other faculty members as well like co-ordinators and all. There are 2 sessionals and 1 semester exams are conducted per semester. In the sessionals, no student is considered as failure but in semester exams, students fail a lot. And it took a lot of difficulties to clear the back of semester examinations. The level of the sessionals is quite easy. There are direct questions from the class notes , but the semester examinations are difficult and one has to study a lot for these.

There is no night life in this college. There is no boys hostel. students have to take Pgs outside the campus to stay. there are 5 Girls Hostel but the curfue timings of girls are too early. The in timings for girls hostel is 6:00 pm in the evening in winters and 6:30 in summers. there is one gym inside girls hostel, badminton court and a reading room where girls can go and study. The famous hangout places in this college is cafetaria and ground. locality is safe inside and around the campus.
