Likes

The college is situated within the city which makes us accessible to various places
The climate is good not too hot and not too cold.
Some professors are very good,their teaching methods and ways of speech.

Dislikes

The college and hospital are situated apart.this makes the travelling quite difficult
Lack of adequate facilities within the campus makes us prone to snakes

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are unpredictable. sometimes easy sometimes it feels like they were created to fail you. The course curriculum could have been more student friendly . It's difficult for the professors also to handle both the patients and students..m

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees around 13500 rupees.. everything together. For students availing scholarship around 2000 per year.many government schemes are available for which financial aid is provided.then we have exam fees 3000- 3500 for each subjects

Campus Life

We have cultural events and sports events conducted anually .we participate in anastamosis which is a state level sports competition. We have dance club, art club, music club ,etc etc with ongoing activities

Admission

I didn't get a rejection from the first college I choose ,which was Thanjavur. I just opted for upgradation and got this college in the 2 nd allotment. We have to write NEET UG .I got admitted to this college through all india quota

Faculty

Some faculties are quite friendly, approachable..but some are quite terrific..they just wanna make us scared .like u will definitely fail ,fail fail... Some expect us learn on our own.. Some professors are super great ..they provide not just knowledge but also great experiences

Night Life

We have library and newly setup canteen within the campus.girls have outing time only till 7pm and no such thing for boys.girls are not allowed to have vehicles but boys are. Gyms are available within the hostels but the equipment are limited.

Placement Experience:

Soon after studies there is no assured package but if you can get decent job offers from various hospitals with a min salary package of 60k. There is a lot of opportunities that you have after completing MBBS. Wide variety of opportunity to learn from.

Curriculum is too tight and scheduling is so much irritating.Studying is good but exam times are difficult because there is no concept of semesters the exams are conducted yearly so should study 1 year topic for an exam

Small and Simple College near the beach side

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a vast course and it needs lot of patience and perseverance, you can enjoy a lot but keep a eye on your academics as well, so that you don't lag a long way at the end of the year. This scope is a noble one, as everyone knows, that's why I choosed this. During the course, you will be physically and mentally be prepared to tackle work load and handle stress. They have shifted 2 subjects from pre final year to final year, we are the upcoming batches for the new curriculum, so I don't know that how this will impact this i.e, in a better way or not. Finally about exams, it may cause nightmare, study regularly so that you will come to know the questions atleast once, plan accordingly to tackle the exam. Have a calm mind it will help you a lot, explore more things in the due course. All the best guys

Life in CMC

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the third year. Most of the top organizations require our students and the students can also be placed in our own hospital CMC. Mostly all of the students are placed here. Averagely they gain 50k per month. My plan after my degree is to do masters in my own institution.

i choose this course because i have interest in it.There are so many teachers and college staffs here.All the teachers are educated and entertaining clases..The teachers here, clear doubts immediatly if we have one.There were a weekly exam and one monthly.The weekly exam is not so tough but the monthly exam is not so easy.It was not so much difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for medical students here but as everyone that a doctor is a doctor. MBBS student has the law of opportunities in India and outside India, campus placement is not required. But nowadays post-graduation is kind of necessary.
