IRT Perundurai Medical College [IRTPMC] was established in 1992 and situated in city Erode, State of Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and approved by Bar Council of India (BCI). The long standing desire of the Transport Corporation employees to have a Medical College and Hospital to provide specialized medical treatment to people in the area and to the transport employees and their families was fulfilled by the State Government in the year 1986.
The Hospital was constructed and started functioning from September 1994 onwards with only 600 bedded. The college is spread in 327 acres, which is 20 km west from Erode on the Erode-Coimbatore National Highway. The library has 9724 books, 2915 Journal Back Volumes, 413 Medical CDs, 66 Audio Cassettes, 165 Video Cassettes, 67 Indian Journals and 33 Foreign Journals. The college has all necessary facilities which is important for students.

Government erode madical college in diplmo in lab technology fees
Government Erode Medical College has not released the fee details of DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology ) in online mode. It may be obtained by visiting the institute.
Admission to govt medical colleges is done based on NEET exam followed by counselling.
IRTPMC Perundurai does not offer either B.Sc. Physiotherapy or B.Sc. Psychology to the students.
