Overall education quality was breathtaking.
Every deptt was good worth praising and loving
Library was good along with laboratory both were well developed

Course Curriculum Overview

I already mentioned the rank of the zoology department there was on top they were highly skillful and loving also they were highly understanding and caring l Lab Material should have been renewed like microscope

Class Size: 5000Course Fees: INR 3000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fee was about 2000 The course last for 3 years This 3k per year was same for all the courses excluding the IT students whose fee was 15K per year. Scholarship was granted to only the students belonging to sc st students

Campus Life

No such festivals were celebrated there except the national and religious festival on which govt announces holidays . Sports is overall good there particularly volleyball, cricket. They organise timely tournament in these

Admission

No i only applied there and they took on 12th merit bases perhaps if i remember exactly l You just have to get the minimum percentage required for the admission in the said college to be the part of their journey

Faculty

Student to teacher ratio would have been 1:70 atleast. The faculty of zoology department was too understanding and were also highly professional and super active. They were dream teachers . Only external final exam was conducted there

Night Life

They all were too and worth praising . Library is good and almost all the books were there for us to study . Hostel was too good infact brilliant. From all corners of kashmir students enjoy the hostel life the most

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

I didn't apply for other college but i had opportunities while councelling, I might go in other universities like baba ghulam shah baadshah university in my own district rajouri but the reason of rejecting that university because fee was very high there.Otherwise my opinion about that university is also amazing.I didn't get any rejection from any college.
