One improvement area is that the quality of the guest faculty members should be improved. Like the guest faculty members should be regularly checked and the extra burden should be taken off from the students.

The course curriculum keeps updating each and every year in rhe AKTU. IET follows the course of AKTU and has its own exams because its autonomous. Now through CBCS scheme students can take an optional subject in each semester. But then also the course needs some large improvememt in the field of giving practical knowledge.

The placements and job opportunities have vastly improved in the past years. Now there are numerous companies which come for in campus placement for not only the computer and IT departments but also for the core engineering branches. Currently the college does not provides any in campus internship but it provides a letter of recommendation for off campus internships.

There are mainly two major events in the college- Encore is the annual cultural fest of the college held in the month of march and it is held for 3-5 days which has various popular events each day. Participants and audience from various colleges to Encore. Shauryotsava is the annual sports meet of the college and it has various sports events like cricket football badminton etc in which participants come from various colleges.

The fee structure has been changing from the last two years. Because the college has gone into its development phase so there is a major fee hike. For me the annual tuition fees is 62k but for the students admitted now it has increased to more than 1 lac per year. The hostel fees is 12k per year for me and mess fess is 32k per year.

Yes if your annual family income is less than 1 lac per year then you can apply for the scholarship which is around 56k per year. The scholarship nearly pays off the tuition fee for the year. But for availing the scholarship there is a very strict and long process which involves thorough document verification.

The college is not upto the mark for extra curricular activities like it doesnt have a swimming pool a proper music room a proper sports field. The sports field is under construction. There are socities for various extra curricular activities like for indian music, western music, dance, taekwando etc.

Yes the alumni network of the college is pretty strong. Every year Convergence is held in the college in which alumni from a particular year come to the college and relive their moments. There is a dedicated alumni association in the college which consists of elected members as its council.

I passed the UPSEE 2016 exam and got a rank of 6071 to get electronics and Instrumentation in IET. IET lucknow is the most sought after college in AKTU and has always remained as the first priority for the students appearing in AKTU. IET admits students only on merit basis in UPSEE and there is no other mode of admitting students.

The faculty of the college can be divided into permanent and the guest faculty. The permanemt faculty is quite good but they are very few in number while the guest faculty is just not upto the mark. The guest faculty members are kept on adhoc for 1 year and then they are evaluated for further extensions.
