Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have pursue this field because i have some amount of interest in coding and development . You can explore new technologies while staying in every CS branch easily . Don't expect anything from the facculties and authorities. You have to manange everything by yourself.. Exams are not too hard. You can easily score good marks if you start reading before one week of semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

On-Campus internship are provided (but to only selected studnets who really work hard) at a good stipened(approx 1-1.5 lakhs) But you can apply for Off-Campus placements too. Major projects can be based on Machine Learning,Robotics, etc.

Placement Experience

4

Right now a days , the placements are ok-ok. Mass recruitment are from companies like- 1. humming wave 2. tata tcs 3. skolar 4. yamaha 5. paytm 6. IBM, etc Approx 70-80% students get the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course Fees : - 100000 (Yearly) Hostel Fees : - 14500 (Yearly) Mess Fess : - 40000 (Yearly) Scholar Ship Fess: - 62500 (Yearly) Scholarship is provided by the Up Government of India. In terms of affordability, college is good.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is like when i was in my first year it seems to be like "Wah! kya jagah hai" but as time flies your thought changes changes about the college and you start focusing on yourself rather than other activities happening inside the college. There are varities of books available in the library for the students. Although Engineers don't use them too much. Mostly there are green boards in the classroom and teacher cam with a chalk and a duster like our school. Varities of sports has been played in our college at the state level such as cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, football, etc. In our college there is a social club which runs by our seniors known as PARMARTH where we teach students who cannot afford study.

Hostel Facilities

4

One of the best things of college are our hostel and it's mess. It is not like what you heard at from others about hostel's and mess. You will get a good food and workers are also friendly in nature. Hostel total have 4 floors(including ground) and on one floor approx 75 students are staying.

Admission

I had applied for mmmut gorakhpur as well as for hbtu kanpur but finally decided to stay at IET because of its affordability and location. Admission process was like you have to fill a varities of form and candidates can apply for B.Tech via jee mains

Faculty

3

Faculty Members are like they only need your presence in the class and on that basis they are going to judge you. You have to study everything by yourself, even for your semesters. Although you can easily score a good gpa apart from all this(Exception: Branch : ECE because in my first year I got ECE branch due to my jee mains marks but after one year because of my ygpa, i manage to change my branch to CS-AI)

Night Life

3

Outside of our college, there are 1-2 gyms where most of the students spend their life after they felt alone. Hostel timings are like for the first year students it was about 8:00 pm abd for girls it was about 7:00 pm but from the second year, there are no burdens over boys but girls have to reach till 8:00pm Inside the college , famous places to hangout are : canteen, sports complex, garden,et.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
