Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is pretty old we need advancement in the course. As the technology is going we need advancement in course. The old courses very basic we need some advanced concept. We need also the difficulty in the frequency of exam

Placement Experience

3

The placement in our college is very upgrades the bridge packages 400000 we need growth in the placement sector and the ratio of placement is also very less because because of very competitiveness in the industry field so we need good companies to come in our college and invest more in our students who are very talented

Fees and Financial Aid

The college Fees is 68000 and the hostel fees is 45000 for girls the examination registration fees for events semester is 1700 and the registration fees for odd semester is 3700 the tfw category fees is 28000

Campus Life

3

2 April expense is not so good or not so bad it is average the there is festivals in the months of February and March we got 10 annual function in the month of April we also got a study tour in the month of February which is organised by the computer science engineering branch.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel rooms are pretty good but the food is not so good which is providing the hostel canteen we need improvement in the food quality. There is free Wi-Fi supply in every room of the college but we need a high speed Wi-Fi for the preparation of our placements

Admission

I applied in NIT Rourkela before this college but I got rejected because of my less rent in examination called a drink from which we got selected for this college and I choose computer science engineering branch because it is demandable branch in the IT industry as the IT industries growing.

Faculty

3

The faculty ratio is very less we need more permanent faculties because of less permanent faculties . What the faculties were present is very supportive and their very friendly the support in the growth and placement of the student and helps in competitive examination.

Night Life

3

The nightlife is not so good we need the improvement in the lights in the road the safety and security . There is no gym available in our campus there is only two food courts one is old canteen and another one is a little bit snacks counter.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Curriculum is like ok for an govt engineering college not like an iit/nit. There are many departments where equipments are very old & haven't changed for a long time. Exams are conducted very fast like mid sem is conducted in 1/1.5 months and end sem is in 2 months

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
