Course Curriculum Overview

The specific aspects of curriculum that influence me to choose this course is the now most demanding branch to get a job in real world the frequency and timing of the exam is sufficient to study a between two semester

Placement Experience

The 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements there are various types of company which provides the average package of 4 lakhs and the highest package of 9 lacs and 50% of students are getting placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise free I have to pay tuition fee as 68000 development free as 5000 registration fee as approx 2000 per semester lab fees is 5000 there are no scholarship and financial support provided by our college

Campus Life

Tera different types of annual functions organised by our college sources around horizon and funfair and our department have their own function which is named as technovation the extra curricular activities activity are different types of crops such as drishya club coding club robotics club etc

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are not good very but it is slightly congested for 5 person the male quality is average the registration process of my hostel age based on the semester result the facilities which are provided in our hostel is Wi-Fi supply and unlimited electric supply

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

The college I have applied its National Institute of technology Rourkela but I got rejected due to low ranking in joint entrance examination rank so I choose this college as my carrier the admission process of my colleges based on JEE entrance examination rank

Faculty

The faculty to student receive is 1:7 the faculties are highly educated from NIT and IIT the relationship between faculties and students are like parents and child the faculty I like the most is Lakshman Nayak sir the exams are easy to clear

Night Life

The nightlife of my campus is not good whatever college up to cafeterias and a famous hangout place which is named as old canteen the campus gate is closed at 10:00 p.m. and for us the girls hostel is closed at 8:00 p.m.

Honest Opinion in the college

Placement Experience:

There are internship opportunities at the starting of 3rd year and job opportunities at the starting or 4th year. This year many companies visited the campus which include DE Shaw, Flipkart, Oracle, TCS, VISA(for summer internship drive), and various start-ups like Sarvam AI and many more. Highest package was 56.8LPA by DE Shaw. Flipkart took a total of 20 candidates (12 were selected for 34.5LPA and 8 for internship opportunities). Average package going around 9LPA. TCS mass recruited candidates for around 4 LPA, and ORACLE has been consistent at taking candidates for 24 to 25 LPA. Percentage of Students placed for CSE branch is 90. Many students opt for M Tech courses via GATE exam after getting their degree.

Value For money college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is a government college but provides much more facilities like private colleges.

In odisha we have a specific counselling procees named as OJEE counselling. In this we have to apply for many colleges as we want. I chose this college for this particular branch . Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
