Likes

The enviroment is preety relaxed and good for studies.
The campus is so big which helps us to move wherever we want
The ld canteen abd the playground is good for mindfrehs

Dislikes

The lab requires imprvment as they are very old
The food is not so good in the hostel so we required in the improvement of the food quality
The campus needs to be caller every time it is not properly coloured and some of the wall also not good

Course Curriculum Overview

Well the courses very old and we follow the old course but it is helpful we required improvement in the course we required from advancement in the course for the development for knowing the development in in the technology

Placement Experience

The 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements name of the Companies visited offer college are Infosys TCS argusoft Tech Mahindra Wipro BTC the highest packages up to 9 lacs and the average packages 400000 only 40% of students are get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees 68000 for electronics and Telecommunication engineering and the hostel frees 46000 for boys the exam registration fees for even semester is 1700 and exam registration fees for the odd semester is 3500 and the fees for tfw category is 23100

Campus Life

Our college organize different types of festival and functions surcharge annual athletic mate and annual function which is named as around rise on is our biggest function of the college there are sufficient amount of books and journals available in the library there are many facilities are provided in our classrooms such as a LED screen projector and sufficient amount of benches

Admission

I choose VSSUT before this college but I got rejected in that college and I get into igit the selection process is through JEE main rank is so low that's why I got rejected in vssut. It is also good igit for electrical branch

Faculty

The faculty ratio is quietless and we require more number of permanent faculties who gave lot of experience in the field of electronics and Telecommunication engineering engineering but the faculties who are present in this branch are pretty good and help in the placement studies and competitive exams

Night Life

The campus gate is closed at 10:00 p.m. at night and the hostel of boys get his closed at 11:00 p.m. what for the girls it is closed at 8:00 p.m. there are no gems in our college but to cafeteria and one library is present in our college the famous hangout places in our inside our college is old canteen

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
