The course curriculum for the most part is up to date with the current need of the industries but can be improved in certain aspects. Overall the curriculum helps students prepare themselvs for the real world and face the challenges that they come across in the field of work. Modern subjects and techniques can implemented in the curriculum in order keep the students up to date with the state of their respective fields.

The university provides internship opportunity to students from various companies. It is part of the curriculum that the student must have done atleast three internships by the end of their course. There is also a mandated semester long internship program that a student must attend and create a report of the same at the end of the semester.

The university has a placement cell which brings a wode range of companies hiring across all domains of engineering and technology. The students are eligible to attend campus placements starting from their 6th semester. The student must not have any backlogs in order to be eligible for the placements. The university has a sixty percent placement average among students. The average package hovers around 6 to 7 lpa and the highest are at 25 to 30 lpa. I personally plan to have my own firm after the completion of my degree

The tution fee to be paid per year is Rupees one Lakh. After the admission there is an additional fee to be paid for the library and sports facilities a sum of five thousand five hundred rupees. If the student were to join any of the student clubs an entry is to be paid and it varies based on the club. There are various scholarships that are available for the students prominent one being TSEPass which aids a sum of thirty five thousand rupees to the tuition fee.

The campus life is very lively and active as it is located in the heart of the city and the students come from all walks of life. Their are student clubs for all types of social groups like dancing, singing, acting, film making, literature, robotics and many more. There are technical fests held once every year where all the departments come up with their own activities and events for a two day fest that is as the students put it "badass in every way possible".

The reason for choosing this college over others is its tremendous reputation as the leading university for engineering and technology in the state. It has an upper hand over other colleges in the area because of the standards in academic aspects. The admission process starts with the CET exam whose results determine the course you are eligible for. The cutoff varies depends on the type of CET as well as reservation.

The faculty appointed by the universty are extremely experiend and professional in their approach to teaching. There are regular classes along with labs for providing hands on experience to the students. The course is structured such that the student has ample time to get familiarized with the concepts of their syllabus and exams are conducted to test their knowledge. There are two mid term examinations that are conducted as internal and an end semester examination is conducted.

The night life in and around the campus is very chill. Within the campus there isnt much to do at night besides library and sports club. But around the university there are multiple malls and hangout areas that have a very fun vibe. Also the university is at the heart of the city and has frequent public transport available to all the parts of the city.
