Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum met N Satpur provide a strong foundation in engineering and practical skill which influenced many student to join its cover theory and application but could improve in industry events. Adding more real world topics and modern teaching method would make it better exams are held at the end of each semester, and our model moderately challenging the pass marking is 35% and with regular effort, maintaining a good CGP achievable. Overall the curriculum is solid but needs to meet the current industry trends.

Internships Opportunities

At NIT Jamshedpur student have access to a variety of internship opportunity that provide practical experience and industry exposure. Internship opportunities: Student have entered with leading companies such as Wipro, Amazon Deloitte, Tata motors Tata steel and Adani roles offered include development, data analysis and project management. Stipend: the stipend amount depending on the company and their role. For instance, some internship of her stipend up to 80,000 with average typing around 50,000. Projects and outcomes: Software development: intense have worked on developing testing software application contributing to the companies product development cycle. Data analysis: some students have engaged in analysing large data set to derived actionable insights, adding in strategic decision making process.

Placement Experience

At NIT, Jamshedpur, MCA, MTech, and BTech programmes of a reversed placement opportunity. MCA placement: student become eligible for campus placement after completing their fourth semester and the highest salary package of 30 LPA with an average package of 10 for the MCA. Approximately 90% of the MCA student secured placement during 2024 session. BTech placement BTech student are eligible for campus placement after completing their six semester. The highest salary packagewas 82 LPA with an average package of 12.63 LPA approximately 93.76 of BBA student secure placement during the 2024 session.

Fees and Financial Aid

At NIT Jamshedpur, the annual fee for the MCA program amounts to 80,500 which includes a tution fees of 47,500, a hostel fee of 18,000 and mess charges of 15,000. Over the two year course duration, the total cost adds up to 1,61,000. Students can also benifit from scholarships such as Merit-Cum-Means scheme and finincial assitance provided by the govt. of SC/ST candidates. Notably, the fee structure has remained consistent in recent years.

Campus Life

NIT Jamshedpur campus life is variant offering a blend of academic, regular and extra curricular engagement. Annual and technical festivals: Culfest: held in January Kal, 1 Eastern India, second largest cultural festival, featuring performance, competition and cultural impression. Ojass: these techno management fast occurs in April, showcasing, technical and managerial skills through various event and many are present for the student. Library resources: the Central library spent three floor, suffering a worst collection of books and generals to support academic and research activities. Classroom facilities: classroom are equipped with modern technologies, provision, including Wi-Fi connectivity, multimedia projector, and air conditioner, learning experience. The campus offer range of sports speciality, including cricket, football, basketball, tennis, badminton activity are organised by various club and society. In Jamshedpur provided well, rounded campus, facing academic excellence with diverse extracurricular opportunity.

Hostel Facilities

At NIT, Jamshedpur. The hostel facilities are designed to provide a comfortable and conductive environment for student. Hostel facilities: first year student are typically assigned double sharing rooms. While from second year onwards, they are provided with single Lacy room. Each room is furnished with essential and such as a bear study, table chair and cupboard. Internet connectivity in hostel are equipped with Wi-Fi and facility. Engineering student have access to the internet for academic and personal use. Male quality and menu: the hostel may sare variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals catering to diverse dietary preferences. The quality of food generally consider good with regular changes in the venue of maintain variety.

Admission

I applied to several NIT for master of computer application program, including NIT, Allahabad and NIT Jamshedpur. Due to my name. I secured admission to NID Jamshedpur but did not meet the cut-off for NIT Allahabad, which typically requires higher score. The admission process at NIT Jamshedpur for MCA program involves meeting as specific eligibility criteria, including a bachelors degree with at least 60 marks and qualifying through NIMCET examination. The application process conduct online with a non-refundable application process fee of 2500 for general and OBC candidate and 1250 ST/SC candidate. For undergo program like BTech admission is best performance in the Jaman examination and class 12 equivalent qualifying examination seat allocation Authority manage the counselling and suite allocation process. My admission experience was streamlined with clear guidance and timely updates. In summary, while I initially aimed for NIT, Allahabad, my name aligned better with NIT Jamshedpur admission criteria, the structure, admission process and the institute strong Academy environment have provided solid foundation for my MCA education.

Faculty

At NIT Jamshedpur, the faculty-to-student ratio is approxmitely 1:15, allowing for better interaction between students and professors. The faculty is well qualified with many holding PhD degrees and having significant teaching experience. The course structure is well balanced, focusing on both the theoretical concept and practical applications. Each semester includes internal assessment and final exams which are moderately challenging, regular attendance and efforts in studies usually and share good performance with a passing mark of 35%. However, some student feel the curriculum could be updated to match the latest industry trends. On other hand, this satisfaction arise when some professors take two outdated teaching style, the exam system is fair and the overall academic framework supports steady progress, to modernisation of the curriculum could further enhance its relevance.

Night Life

At NIT Jamshedpur campus, life offers, eval mixed up, academic focus and recreational activities contributing to rebounded student experience. Campus facilities and timings: Gym: the gym is open till 9 PM, allowing student to get fitness activity after classes Cafeteria: the campus cafeteria typically operates until 10 PM, providing a variety of meals and snacks. Library: the Central Library offers extensive research for academic with operating hours extending into evening to accommodate student study needs. For hangout, we can go to Bishnupur non-for average age and small store, Bisht Puri, a favourite destination for student, Sikking, late night snacks and casual outing.

In our college placement companues was visited definitely but they had not provided at highest packages to anyone. from the 5th semester they started their process and upto last semester they select some candidates and some did not. Placement Experience:

Placement cell was also made in our college and after semester 5th recruitment agencies are approaching to campus for campus placement of the students but not in high number of placement companies are available for highring. Zomato, Swiggy, Ekart, Techmahindra etc types of companies are hire students for their companies. And they gives not much high packages i.e. 2.4 to 2.6 LPA to overall students.
