Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course comprises of many interesting topics for a student to study about. They make it more interesting by changing the angle of comprehension of the subject, we deal with those in the form of debates, skits, films, videos etc. So there is no one method of teaching, we explore all the methods and gain new experiences The curriculum provides a very future based understanding and preparation. The areas where improvements is necessary would be providing materials and giving more assistance to students who do need it, because everyone cannot handle self study, some need to clear their doubts and strengthen their concepts

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is as follows 1st year :- 169000 2nd year :- 155000 3rd year :- 150000 The admission fee is inclusive in the 1st year fees. The course contains of CMA certification course that can be attempted through the representation of the college. The fee for the CMA is separate, tuition fee for e learning and practice questions is 50000 that provides subscription for those materials for 5 years. Then, there are memberships that allow us to avail discount for the examination fee. Examination of CMA is divided into two parts, each part attempted at 25000. Post clearance of exams, the candidates need to have an active membership activities, work experience and only after that the candidate can apply for license for CMA. All these things must be done along with the exams of the college degree. There are numerous schemes available in terms of scholarships, within the college as well as outside. There are primarily two types of scholarships 1) Management scholarships 2) Old Students Association scholarships These scholarships run an interview and enquire for the reason for application of scholarships.

Campus Life

5

The infrastructure of the college is comparatively smaller with other colleges ye to first of the college is comparatively one of the most biggest fests and programs held in this college. The sports extra curricular activities offered in the college is immensely beneficial for the students who specialised in those activities. The college values both academic and extra curricular activities as fun as the understand not everybody can achieve both or excellent both but anyone.

Admission

The reason I choose this college is because of it's dynamic exposure to its students in respect to social academic and economic knowledge. While comparing other colleges they they don't have much exposure much social exposure as compared to this college it's mostly dominated with academic benefits and nothing more but this college provides benefits in almost all the aspects making at easy for the students to reach great heights in whichever field the desire. I did not get accepted in other colleges because I did not attend the interview due to personal reasons. That admission process of the college starts with an entrance exam which if passed leads to a personal interview and finally leading to a final interview. The eligibility for the admission process would be passing of Pre University with the percentage of 60 and above

Faculty

4

The faculties are extremely approachable and kind. The students must make appointments inorder to meet them and have a conversation They give out tips and precautions in regards to social media, academic performances, etc and they are extremely open and treat all the students equally. There is not much indications of partiality as such. There are 2-3 members who treat the students very rudely and behave inconsiderate. But in the college, the students also have a voice when things do not go the right way, they have the liberty to write a letter to change the subject teacher incase there is too much of commotion between the faculty member and students

Night Life

5

There are numerous cafeterias inside and outside the college that provide budget friendly food items beverages etc. they open at 7 in the morning and close at 9 o'clock in the night making it convenient for the students and others the locality is extremely safe as it is a more of a social convention for people so the cases of robbery are very less

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
