A review of Amity University

You will find different types of students here and some of them are super rich. Not all of them comes for study but to enjoy the college life. If you are focussed on studies only then you'll find Amity a right place for you.

The Course is wel structured with many extra but necessary subjects like Communication Basics, Behavioural Science, Foreign Business language, Law and other subjects necessary for a professional life. The exams are taken according to the AICTE curriculum, Internal exams between the semester and the external exam after the completion of semester.

The college is pretty much straight forward in this and they try their level best to place most of their student. They provide the maximum opportunity a college should provide. Talking about my branch more than 120 companies come for placement every year. Yes they provide the internship opportunity too with the stipend varies from company to company.

We have our college fest known as Amity Youth Festival which is a week long event. Various events happens in this period of each and every Department of the college. The last day include the star night where a singer/actor perform in front of the whole college crowd.

The fee structure is higher than any other private college in India. But they provide the infrastructure and academia. If you are a good student and wants to study then the fees is totally acceptable. Apart from this they provide scholarship to every meritorious student.

If you have scored more than 80% in you 12th board then you will get direct admission without any exam or interview. If your 12th score is 93% then you'll get 50% scholarship and if it is more than 95% then you'll get 100% scholarship.

As already stated the infrastructure at Amity is world class. They have state of the art labs, rooms and what not. And the good thing is they maintain it so well. You will get excellent sports complex with every indoor and outdoor sports. And there is even an Olympic size swimming pool

Seniors students are very Much helpful here, they will not only guide you but will assist you in every thing. Some of the clubs at Amity have awesome senior members as head and they try their level best in grooving and motivating other juniors.

I applied for the admission. Then I was called for a written test followed by an interview. After few days I got an email stating that I was selected and other details regarding the registration process and fees.

The faculty are very much professional and qualified. The college takes so much of fees but provide the expert level of faculties in their fields. Most of the professors I study from have done Ph.D and many of them are for IITs and other premier Institutes of India.
