Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B com in Accounting & Finance because of my intrest in accounting field. The course here is designed in a way where it focuses basic to advanced level accounting and finance concepts, which are all taught by faculty using real life examples and case studies so it'll be much more engaging and interesting. In MCC we have 3 internal continuous assessment (ICA) out of which best 2 will be selected for you internal mark. Among this 3 ICA the 2nd ICA will be project, you'll be need to prepare a project relevant to the subject which is given by your course mentor. During the month April and November we'll be having End Semester Exam(ESE).
Placement Experience
In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

Every one gets same fee there will be no difference in fee paid by students. Grand total for entire course is Rs. 1,76,634 Tuition fee will be same for every sem - Rs.22,500 per sem. Admission
First there is no test admission it purely based on your cut off mark and first come first serve. The factors that made me choose Madras Christian College were it's tradition and culture, in mcc we have rich culture and traditions which took places throughout the year, I get to know about this from my brother. The next thing is MCC known for it's good standing in rank throughout India so it's a go for me. Note this is only applicable for under graduate
Faculty
In a class of 60 upto 5 students may fail in diff majors. Faculty are approachable but they may show partiality. Tip for ICA: Just check previous year ICA QUESTION PAPER mostly they use same question paper.
Night Life
Honestly there is no night life in our college. Canteen closes after 7.00 pm and the rest of facility like library, photocopy shop closes at 6.15 pm. Famous hang out spot in MCC is stone bench and pavilion near the stone bench. Campus timing for SFS is 1.45 pm to 6.15 pm
