Likes
- The first and main thing is that faculty is very good and they are always been there for support whenever we need. All the teachers have very well knowledge of their respective subjects. They treat all the students equally without any discrimination
- The second thing is about placement. The college really provides very good opportunity for students.Many reputed and high companies come to the college to pick up students. The college also provides special training to students for placements.
- The college also organizes several events and also celebrates many festivals. They also organizes many competition for students, which will help students to be active in their extra curricular activities
Dislikes
- The major demerit is that college easily provides admission to students, which I think should be avoided a little bit. I think some entrance test or personal Interview should be conducted so that some deserving students can get admission.
- As I mentioned in first point about easy admission ,it must be avoided because it really affects overall environment of college
- The next thing is about hostel facilities of this college. Hostel rooms are okay, but food not that good, so it must be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
I had taken B. Com(Business Analytics) which is a popular and trending course in today's time. They provide this course in very less price, according to this course value. The college will give industrial experience and projects so that we will be able to get practical experience, which will be plus point during our placement time. There are two semesters every year and also internal exam, assignment, quiz, etc before every semester which will be added to our overall semester marks. The duration of this course is 3 yrs
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunity is provided in college during 5 and 6 semester, so that students will get practical knowledge and helps them a lot during placements to get selected. But it's optional students can choose placements or either they can opt for projects
Placement Experience
The college offers placements opportunities for students. Many reputed companies like infosys, reliance, oppo, mahindra bank, etc comes to place students. Students also gets trained to get placed. The problem is that students may be placed but the salary offered is usually low. My plan after completing this course is to do masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for this course is 23k for every semester. The college also provides scholarship for low caste people, old NCC candidates, old RVS school students and also for sports student (atleast district player) will get scholarship. It provides employee opportunity as many big companies come for placements, so no worries about that and college also provides special training for students for their placements
Campus Life
The overall campus life is nice, many programs like Onam celebration is done in the college. There are also several clubs like music club and all. Sports day also conducted in the college. There is also a large library in college which provides several reference book and other story or literature books, etc. There is also projector in every class
Hostel Facilities
The rooms in the hostel are nice. There is no problem in the hostel, but there might be some problems in food sometimes. But now it's improving. The fees of hostel is 75k per year .AC rooms and gyms are also available for hostel students
Admission
The admission in the college is direct ,there is no entrance exam. The students should be 12 passed. The application form will be available in college office and the admission is open till August -September. The one thing which should be improved is that there should be some criteria for admission, there should be entrance exam or atleast a minimum marks need in 12std, currently the college only requires that should be 12 pass no matter about their marks,which I think should be avoided or improved
Faculty
All the teachers and very well qualified and they provide enormous support to the students. They try their best to give quality education. They treat all the students equally without any discrimination. We can approach to our teachers any time, if we have any doubt or have any problems. They are very friendly to students.
