Shri mata vaishno devi university. Is it really that good ?

Overall the course is pretty nice and give us insights about the literature world.the timing of exams is best you will get 3 hours for a 40 marks exam and 2 hours for a 20 marks exam and the exams are not much difficult either.

I don't know much about that but the placement is pretty well in better companies with almost 8-9 Lacs of package. Various projects are given to students to check their potential and eligibility for the placement

Though my course doesn't offer any placements but courses like JEE and MBA does. the companies come for interviews and students become eligible in their last year for placement and the placement ratio is pretty well too.

The total fees for the course is 37k and in master's this will be 50k while there's not any compensation for Sc or St they have to pay the same amount of fees as general category. Though the department provides scholarship every semester to top 3 students in the class accordingly.

Though not much but the university holds tech fests and annual fests time to time . They entertain us with cultural fests and talent hunts. The library has number of books even we have an access to e library too. Each classroom has a projector.

Hostel faculty is nice . The menu is pretty well but it doesn't include any non veg items because the university is situated in a sacred place of maa vaishno devi . But we get nice and tasty meals in the mess.

I never applied to any other colleges because my parents allowed me to attend this as it is near my home hardly an hour . The admission process is simple you have to enter through cuet and through JEE for btech courses.

The university holds 2 exams in semester one minor and one major along with this you have marks of internal assessments and quiz and project works etc.The faculty is overall nice and are serious about classes.

There's a gym at every hostel and grocery and many other things to enjoy even outside the hostel. The hostel have cafe coffee day in each one of them. Though girls are not allowed to roam at night after 8 but boys do.
