Best college for commerce in Ranchi

All the subjects which are taught in other colleges all over India at B.com level are also taught here. Theoretical as well as practical knowledge are provided in this college. About the Exam structure - Exams are held on every six months(semester wise) and every semester you will get new subjects as your curriculum.

Few companies like Wipro,TCS always come for the placements and off course call centres too. Every year 5+ companies visit for the placements and conduct exams and interview for the same. There is very limited opportunity from the college side for internships. So you are advised to find an internship by your own and don't rely on this college. Talking about the firm visit then yes college will ask you to visit a firm for the project submission of GST.

Events celebrated - 1. Republic Day 2. College Fest 3. Independence Day 4. Christmas and all the other events which are celebrated in other colleges. College Fest is celebrated for 4 days minimum where every kind of events like Debate competition,solo dance,Group dance,Tug of war,Hot seat,singing competition,Rock band, Nukkad Natak, Treasure Hunt and many more. All other events like convocation,Christmas are also spend well in the college.

Talking about of my course the fee is bit expensive as they charge around 35k+ for the first year and then for next 2 years more than 20k. And every semester 600 as a examination fee. The fee for other courses are also average and the most expensive department is International accounts of finance for which you will be charged 90k+ for a year.

Again the scholarships are provided only to the minorities i.e SC,ST and Muslims. They are refunded the amount which they have paid at the starting of the year. Yes the full amount is refunded to SC,ST candidates but scholarship is not the general candidates.

Talking about my department then there are 3 labs for us and more than 5 computer labs are there in total. There is chemistry,physics labs for the science students and a game room for snooker,carrom and chess. Cricket,football, basketball,volleyball and hockey tournaments are also held on a regular basis(every year). There is library where you can study for the whole day(if you wish to) and books are also available to get issued. Daily newspapers and magazines are also available. But the books are very old.

College hostel is only available for minority candidates i.e for SC/ST candidates. So I have rented a room in a lodge near my college where I am charged 2k+ every month and for fooding there is mess and it charges around 2500 for 3 times meal and the food of mess really sucks.

If you will ask for the help from the seniors then they are kind enough to help you with the materials and knowledge available with them and these informations are helpful also. Most of the professors who taught in the college have studied from this college itself.

After the Entrance exam, first merit list came out and I saw my name there. I was provided a date to take the admission. I went to the college on the date provided to me. Then I went to the place of admission in the college and verified all my documents. After verifying the documents, I was said to pay the college first year fee with a challan and the total amount was printed on the challan. I paid the money by using the challan information at the college bank itself. Then I showed the paid challan at the place of admission. Then I was given the roll number and day shift. Finally I went to the for ID card and then the process was completed.
