The overview of government engineering college, surat

I study in mechanical engineering and I experienced that many faculty mambers are not available for students. You can take appointment for meet some faculties. But overall , most of the faculty got Ph.D. And they teach perfectly

They gives internship opportunity for interest students, in 5-6 companies and it is only available for 7 th and 8 th semester students only. There are many types of industrial work offered to students.

There are many students who got the campus placement from my college. The average package of campus placement offers 4-4.5 Lakhs per year. The maximum package offers 20-25 lakhs per annum There are many companies like relience, L&T , eather , ongc etc... come in campus placement.

The yearly fees are 1500rs. For study and other 2000rs. For other (gym , library etc.There is no any other fees required, because this collage is GOVERNMENT FUNDED COLLAGE. There is no any cast wise discrimination in fees. There is not any scholarship in tution fees , because this collage is GOVERNMENT FUNDED COLLAGE , but there are many other sponsorship events from any other private companies.

There are many collage festival during year. There are robo fests , freshers party, navratri celebration etc... There are also celebrating the other national and regional fastivals. There are many books which is related to syllabus,but there is not available other books. The condition of classroom is average, they not have air conditioner , but there are fans available. There are many sports ground like cricket, vollyball, basketball.

I am leaving in surat and I am applied many collages like 1.VISHVAKARMA GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE 2.LD GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE 3.GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE BHARUCH 4. GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE SURAT 5. GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE VALSAD I can't take admission in vishvakarma government engineering college because there's merit was higer then gec surat. I was studied 1 month in GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE BHARUCH But I can't want to Daily updown in train from surat to bharuch. That's why, I changed my college in my city, government engineering college surat.

There's faculty are very supportive to students, and most of the faculty gained Ph.D. in their fields . I like Mr. Mehta , who teach mechanical engineering and who was formed H.O.D. of mechanical engineering.He is most supportive to students and always helping to others. I don't like the current H.O.D. of mechanical engineering, MR. SHUKLA , because he didn't let me gow to GTU ROBOTICS CLUB, which is in GTU HEADQUARTER, CHANDKHEDA, AHMEDABAD. There are mid semester exam and end semester exam. The are quite difficult for some students , but overall 80% students passed the exams in the year.

There is a library available 10 am to 6 pm. There is a canteen with 100 students capacity and available 9am to 7 pm . There are many hostel buildings . Campus timing is 9 am to 7 pm. There are collage ground for hangout.
