Course Curriculum Overview

3

In today's world, Engineering is a valuable degree of done with smart work and practice. I persued to b.tech in electrical engineering because I had interest in science and technology. This Electrical Engineering course teaches me the applications of this study to real life problems related to this field like electrical supply to the towns and cities and job opportunities in top Public Sector Units such as UPPCL and BHEL, SAIL,etc.

Internships Opportunities

1

The internships are provided to the students here but only to the meritorious ones. The companies include ADOBE,TCS,NIRVANA SOLUTIONS,L &T,etc. I think one time even a student got internship in Railway too.

Placement Experience

2

If talking about placements, then in genuine, only Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics branch students get placed in companies coming here. The core branches students are mostly not placed in any companies. And the most core branches students prepare for GATE exam. The companies visiting here are only mass recruiters which includes TCS, TCS NINJA, WIPRO , Inflosys and TISCO. The average package to Computer Science students is 14 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The First Year fees I paid at the college for my B.tech was 73,850. It includes tution fees which is 40,000 , Caution money of 5,000 and Hostel fees of 10,000. SC and ST candidates have to pay only 57,850. The Mess fees is 20,000 per semester excluding one time caution fees of 5,000. The students here apply for scholarship from UP government named UP Scholarship. It provides an amount between 50,000 to 60,000 , directly to the students' bank account.

Campus Life

2

The campus life feels good only till first semester after which the boredom dominates over days. Even the infrastructure is old enough to suck interests.Although renovation work is going. The campus is given a ground which is well enough to play sports like cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. The first years are not allowed to perform in any club events or to join any of these councils. From second year, you are elegibleIf talking about fests and technical events, the only good one is ANIBHUTI, which is a annual technical fest. There are some clubs like CULTURAL, PHOTOGRAPHY AND ARTS , SPORTS and Literary Council. The library here is a decent small one with not so many books, but can find specific course related books like those of engineering and for exams like GATE.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels provided to the first years are good as compared to those of the seniors. And the fees is too low - 10,000 per year. They are given multiple two seater and three seater rooms. Also a common hall is provided at every floors for students meeting or discussions. Balconies (multiple) provided also gives a unique design to the hostel. One thing i have to say that the mess is really good as compared to other colleges. The quality of the meal given is good with proper menu which can be rearranged by conducting meeting with the mess incharge.

Admission

I prepared for JEE exam and qualified Mains but failed in Advanced. Though I secured a not good score in the exam, i had to give up on the top colleges like IITs,NITs and IIITs . At last i participated in my state counseling UPTAC (UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL ADMINISSION COUNCIL) through which I got my present one. The admission process was simple and decent. IT admits students qualifying JEE mains exam which every student takes to get admission to various institutes of the country. If talking seriously, am not satisfied with this college but now I have no choice.

Faculty

2

The faculty here is good but lacks in passing the knowledge to the students. The faculty to students ratio is 1:40. The teachers allotted to upper branches like Computer Science, Information Technology and Electronics department are better than those of the lower branches like Electrical, Mechanical and Civil department l. The exams conducted here includes two Class tests and a Semester exam per semester. If anybody fails to attend any class test , a third class test is conducted for those students.

Night Life

3

The college campus has got nothing like you can call a gym or cafeteria. Although a AMUL canteen is provided which is the only interesting part. A park called ALUMINI PARK is there which is mostly used for events like fresher party. The hostel timing are 6 am to 8:30 pm. The guards here are somewhat strict. The students here study mostly in the night time which is useful to all. Ofcourse at night the enjoyment part comes where we do all nasty stuff.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.
