A honest review by a honest student

The course curriculum is all accordingly to VTU , belgavi . The course curriculum is somehow old and not updated to current real world usecases . The couse curriculum focuses more on theory than the practical . On an average we have upto 8 subjects each sem . The course curriculum must be updated to the current world. The exam difficulty level is moderate , the students can easily pass .

The student become eligible for placements from 6 th sem itself .The company which visit our college are most of the startups which offer a small but good package. The company which visit our college are TCS , Qspider , codehunt ,etc. The highest package last year was 7.5 LPA. The lowest package was 1.5LPA The average package is about 2.5LPA The number of student get placed is almost 75%. My plans after degree is to get a good placement in the good company.

I have taken admission through KCET , and my fees at 2022 was 98000 rupess on 1st year and 90884 rupees for rest 3 years . Now currently for the management seat the fees are upto 300000 rupees per year for Computer Science Engineering Branch . This amount includes all other expens of college. We need to pay extra 1680 rupees for VTU Sem end Examinations as this college is affiliated to VTU board and exam are conducted according to VTU. There is Scholarship from SSP , it provides the benefit of rupees 19700 rupees every year for student .

The Festival conducted in our college are like , Annual Gathering, Association day , kannada Habu , Alumni meet , Farewell for each department student , Criket Leagues, Fresher's day .etc The Freshers day is conducted on the starting of sach yaer and Farewell is conducted at the end of the year . All other Fest are conducted in between . The classrooms are near and clean and some classrooms have smart TV installed on it . The student have thier clubs which are maintained by students itself without involvement of any faculty .

Our Hostel is one of the best hostel regarding room and food quality. The room is big enough to have 3 student . I a room there are 3 beds , 3 tables , 3 chairs and 3 cupboard. On each floor there are 12 bathroom and 12 toilet. The meal will be provided 3 times a day and evening tea is also provided . The food quality is also superb ????. The hostel registration is very simple , we just need adhar card and a passport size photo. The hostel fees is around 70000 rupees per year.

I have been alotted the seat in this college throught KCET Examination counselling process . My KCET rank was 48000 and i got seat in this college. The reason behind choosing this college is because, in my rank range this was the best college for pursuing the Computer Science Engineering course. The admission process is very simple The college accpets students eirher through management seat or Through KCET and ComedK Examinations. The KCET cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is around 50000

The faculty in our college is best . Each department has its own faculty members . On an average the faculty to student ratio is 1:20 . The relationship between faculty and student is very good and healthy . I dont name the faculty but there are some faculty members who are good to student , some are very strict and some are very loose. Related to exams there will be 2 Internal assessment in a Sem and a Sem End Examinations conducted at the end of every sem . The exams are conducted very Strictly . Almost 90% of student pass their exams in one trial

There are some activities where we can experience the night life of the collge , such as Annual gathering and Hackathons. The campus is lighted with heavy bulbs and has good visibility at night also. I am a hostel stduent and i experience the night life of the college daily . After Dinner i hangout with my friends in the college campus . The campus is very cold and silent at night . Its surrounded with big trees .
