What Students Say
Likes
- The most important thing I liked is college placements and exposure that the college provides. The placements are excellent and studios students can easily get a good placement.
- You find every type of crowd in the college. And there are a lot of clubs for extra curricular activities
- The project based learning pattern is excellent as it provides hands on knowledge of the subject and prepares the student for industry. Also the alumni network is excellent.
Dislikes
- Much like other colleges, the faculty is not up to date and the time table could be messy at times
- The infrastructure could improve. There is not much infrastructure for sports
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is okay and up to the mark with upcoming industry standards, though not enough for actual industry exposure, you have to study yourself and give time to other important topics. Coding is very crucial and you have to learn that all on yourself.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies provide internship. You can get internship through college placements portal , through faculties or even offline or through referrals. Good quality projects are encouraged by the faculties.
Placement Experience
The placement is excellent. You also get internship opportunities right from the first year. For college placements you become eligible when you enter third year. College provides a lot of support for internships and placements. Companies like Nvidia, BlackRock, Nasdaq, GoDaddy, siemens, Deloitte, redhat, oracle, porter come to college and provide great packages.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees is around 1.75 lakhs for general category students. There are scholarships for other castes such as for OBC and EWS the fees is around 95,000 Rs. For SC ST it is much less. So the complete course fees is around 6-7 lakhs. The fees increases sometimes depending on other factors.
Campus Life
There are various clubs in the college, and a lot of activities go on daily. You have technical clubs, non technical ones too. College also organises fests once in a year, which is very grand. The campus life is average.
Admission
I chose the college, because first I wanted to shift to Pune because of the exposure, and that was a right decision of mine. You get a lot of exposure. Second reason was that I wanted to do my BTech in AI and I was getting that branch in this college so i opted for this. The admission process was very simple and was completed in an hour or two.
Faculty
The faculty is okayish. Some teachers are exceptional, others are mediocre. The exam pattern is simple, one in semester exam in the middle of semester and one end sem at the end. The difficulty is okayish, if you study you can easily crack the exam with good marks.
Night Life
The area around the college is not very safe for girls at night. Also I didn't stay near college, I stayed 4-5 kms away, and I had a two wheeler so I used to commute to college from my flat. The campus is safe but the area around is not.
