Remarks

There is not more space like hostel and play ground. This is main negative remarks. Positive remarks is all faculties class are doing every day. And supportive teachers are there. Placement facilities also best.

Course Curriculum Overview

There is extra practical knowledge to the student and university exam are very hard to score in the exam so, at least ask syllabus questions for make students confident to solve the exams paper. There is also vast syllabus according to my faculty.

Placement Experience

Only campus are available. By the campus selection students get highly package by company. But college not provide any internship or allow to do not work in internship. Placement are available for who score above 60% all semester.

College Events

There are so many events like E-cell, technical events sports and all. There in my college main events is Milestone is the one of the big events in college in that event sports, robotics, farewell, fresher, gathering etc celebrate in my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is cast depending upon fee. SC and st candidate are less fee and obc also less than open categories. But fee structure changes in every year. So,college also provides scholarships to the students by government. And fee are expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is available scholarships and freeship. This scholarship depends on the student family income. So there so many scholarships available. And loan are not supported by the college but banks are given.

Campus Life

There is workshops are there for 1st year students and mechanical students for activities and each and every faculty labs are very strict and instruments also available for practical. Sports are not good because college not take attention to sports faculty.

Hostel Facilities

There is not hostel facilities. This is drawback by the college. But in Mumbai no more space in college area so hostel facilities are not available but students stay in private hostel like rent rooms and pg.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are. But in my college once in year alumni student comes. They are help each and every faculty student for future opportunities. But college are not helping to students for motivating them. There are less amount of alumni students come to the college.

Admission

By mht-cet and jee mains to eligible for a take admission in the college by the cap round. Only entrance exam is the main criteria for take the admission and score greater than 40% in exam then you select of any course.

Faculty

Computer and It faculties are best. Other also best but they not give job opportunities in the future and pass out. And in my college all faculties are available like computer, it, mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard....Read More

i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
