Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course because i liked to operate pc's and laptops i have interest to know more about these systems how they work how the applications run in this and the salary of the student who did this course is also very much the academic pursuits are very old and not real world applicable the improvements that can be done are like chsnge the old information with new technologies and provide real world knowledge the exam difficulty is not very much the students can easy make good marks by studing every day there are very much interesting things to know in this course the information about new technology is very useful and necessary nowadays

Placement Experience

3

There is campus placement in our university the students in 6th or 7th semester are eligible for the campus placement the offer were made of 3 lakh and above per annum by the companies last time the highest package is of 14 lakh per annum and the average package is of 4 lakh per annum , the cgpa of student is above than 6 are eligible to sit in placement. My plan after getting the degree is to take placement in campus or try for the out of campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees i paid is 33900 . Which is 16950 per semester this fee is affordable due to the scholarship that is Category scholarship. I am in OBC Category and my father's annual income is less than 1lakh so i am able to claim the scholarship There are many other scholarships like single parent , army officer parent and many other scholarships that can help poor students to study my batchmates in other categories like general have not any caste Category scholarship but they have other scholarships that they may opt and SC ST students have the Category scholarship same as they have to pay 25 percent of fees per semester and 75 percent is the scholarship that they have to pay when they receive the money or scholarship merit or 12th based scholarships are also there students score above then 75 percent can eligible for applying for the scholarship these are the various scholarships that i know but there are more scholarships thet i can't remember so i am receiving 75 percent of my yearly fees in my scholarship and i have to pay only 25 percent of the fees the received scholarship , i have to submit in the college for the per semester fees SC ST and OBC the same rules are there for the eligibility of scholarship that is the income is less then 1 lakh per annum and the caste is as above i mentioned for the scholarship we have to submit some certificates like caste certificate, income certificate, adhaar card etc . There are admission fees in the starting of the college is 1100 which can be laterly subtracted from our fees and other fees are like lab fees and register fees are also there which i cant remember.

Campus Life

4

In our college we celebrate various festivals like holi and also celebrate many hestorical memories of our history there is a fest or two days will held in our university in the month of October every year and also some technical events like coding , poster making etc . Our university also perform nukad natak in the main chowk of waknaghat . There are various clubs in our university like technical club , art club , literature club , sports club etc . These clubs and fests can play inportant role in student life it can for the relaxation of student from studies and doing other activities in which student have interest

Admission

I tried for the JEE Mains after the 12th but i didn't score good in that and also in HPTU Then i got admission in this college i.e. Bahra University To take admission in this college is very easy no test will given to take admission in this college the eligibility is students must be 12th pass and average percentage must be more than 50 and student doesnot have any pending supply of any paper . In my couse the student must have done 12th in non medical stream

Faculty

3

The faculty relationship is good some teachers are good and kindly teach students but some faculty is not good and can't able to teach and provide knowledge to students I liked the Math faculty because they are good in teaching and maintainaing decorum of the class this faculty members gives the good exam papers and check the sheets in a well way the marking is according to the steps in the solution many of the students got suppy in maths and they dont like marh faculty but u like this faculty because they are honest and genuinely gives number according to what we write in a paper the exams are difficult some times and some times easy depends on the faculty or the subject either it is easy or not the mid term tests are conducted two times in semester that is of 30 marks and the end term exams are conducted at the last of semester which is of 50 marks the t1 and t2 conducted in semester contains 30 marks each but at last the t1 , t2 marks were added and divided by 2 for the overall calculating cgpa

Interview Experience

1

There is no GD or test pattern for the admission in this university. For admission the student must have 60 percent or above in 12th class in interview they just ask about yourself and introduction and why we opt the course and some more basic things

Night Life

4

The library of the university is 24×7 opened but all the things like shops hostels gate cafeterias etc will close at 9 or 10 pm because our college is in the village area the students of hostels are free to roam and hangout after the college timing to the last 7 pm after that hostels were closed and gym also closed after 8 pm There is safe to roam at late night sometimes students roam at late night who were residing in the pg's or rooms the famous hangout place is a fast food near university . Inside the university one red dhaba is very famous for the hangout the paranthas and rajma chawal of that dhaba is very delicious

Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements. Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs) 100 get between 5-10 lakhs And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs
