Course Curriculum Overview

4

* Gitam is known for its focus on aligning academic programs wit industry requirment. the college provides both skills and opportuities fot the outside hectic world. * The curriculum trains us enough to be ready for the outside world by letting us experience the work load and prepare us for the questions we might face. * It lacks balance. Somewhere it is too bland and somewhere it is very busy. * The exams are taken every 2 months. Their difficulties is fair enough.

Internships Opportunities

4

* Some of the companies here for the internships are: Tata, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Swiggy, OYO, L&T, Seimens, Bosch, Deloitte, Amazon, Myntra. * Some projects are given by the course, while the rest are self made for the experience and future opportunities.

Placement Experience

4

*from 5th sem onwards the students are offered to do internships, and from the 7th sem onwards the placements, students are eligible for placements. * Companies like TCS, infosys, etc visit for campus offerings. *The highest package in CSE field is 50LPA and average package is 9 LPA. *Around 80% students get placed. * I plan to do MBA after getting degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

* The fees for Gitam is Rs. 3,00,000 for B.Tech Computer science. * The tuition fees for Gitam is Rs.3,00,000 for B.Tech in CSE. The hostel fees in Gitam is Rs. 1,55,000 for non a/c rooms, and Rs. 1,90,000 for a/c rooms. The lab fees for the B.Sc course is Rs. 1,200. The registration fees for the entrance exam is Rs. 1,400 per phase. The counselling fees for Gitam is Rs. 1,00,000. * The Tuition fees for the B.Tech CSE Cyber security is Rs. 2,50,000. The fees for the rest of the branches of COmputer science is Rs. 3,00,000( whichic include data science, AI&ML, Core). All my batchmates are from CSE branches. * The scholarship in Gitam is given to students with extraordinary grades. The conditions through which students can get scholarships are as follow: 1. Exceptional marks in Gitam and 12th boards. 2. Good rank in JEE mains.

Campus Life

5

* There are constant festivals going on here. They often call the allumni to visit the campus to give us speech. * There is no shortages of books that we need here. As they will order if there isn't a book available in the library. * The facilities are really good here. This is a new campus so everything is even better. * Ther is a wide range of sports available here. and the competitions are also held between the campus of other Gitam branches. * Ther are wide range of clubs available here. They also take in memebers in frequent manner.

Hostel Facilities

3

* The room provides a bed, a cuboard, a rack to keeep thing, a study desk and shoe rack. * The food was really good at the start of our colege life, but as the days went by, you would carve for outside food or home food. * The registration process takes half an hour time and is very easy, but it sure is costly compared to PGs around here.

Admission

* I tried for VIT. But i was not getting the course that I wanted. I also tried for KIIT, but fees was too high. In Gitam, I was getting the course I wanted with decent fees. * I tried for Nirma university in which i was getting ECE, which was not my aim. So, i backed down. *The elligibility for Gitam is min 60% in 12th board. it accepts through Gitam exam and JEE mains exam.

Faculty

3

* Every faculty gets max of 60 students under them, and the faculty to student vary based on the nature of the faculty, like some of the faculty are really very interactive and always try to help their students out. The approachability also varies faculty to faculty, but most of the faculty are very easy to approach. * My favorite faculty is Dr. Sudheer singh, And he teaches us Descrete mathematics structure. He explains the topics ellaborately and take shis time on the topic. other faculties whom I like are Vidhya. J mam and Praveen Kimar sir. * The faculty I don't like is Mahendra Rajak, as he is absent most of the class and expects us to complete our tasks even when he didn't explain us a thing. He also discriminates between boys and girls, by giving favors to the girls. * There are two exams per sem. One mid exam and one sem exam. They are difficult enough, like you can pass with a tiny bit of efforts. The course curriculum is very much relevant.

Night Life

4

* There are all types of facilities available in the campus including gym, cafeteria, and a park. * The hostel closes and doesn't allow any students outside to enter after the time of 9:30. * The location is really safe hang around at night and even girls roam around without having any fear. the famous hangout place here is the park and the cafeteria.
