Great college.

The college is great. The best private college in Ahmedabad which is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University. The crowd is great. The studies is also great. Best 4 years spent here. Loved it here. Perfect combination of studies and extracurricular activities.

The placement and job opportunities are great for the desk jobs ie. the CS, IT, EC and ICT fields. The recruitments for Mechanical, Automobile and Civil is a bit weak. No, the college doesn’t provide us any internships nor they provide any exemptions in attendance if we get an external internship.

We have a great list of events happening. We have cricket, football and volleyball tournaments yearly. We have techfest named organised yearly. We have a cultural festival named LUMINA which have intercollege participants in Dance singing, talent and rampwalk categories. We have an engineering day celebration too. The biggest event is the INNOVATION VILLAGE which showcases projects from students and chief guests like chief minister and education minister has been present. Local investors are also invited and selected projects are funded. We also have antrapreneur event which empowers women entrepreneurs.

The fee structure is feasible. It is average compared to the colleges affiliated under the same university. It is approximately 35k per semester aka 70k per year so it rounds up to 3 lacs for the 4 year program.

We have scholarships for the Economically weak. If the annual income of the whole family is less than 6L, then the student is given 50% off on the fees.

Extracurricular activities are very high. There are several activities, Clubs. The sport activities as mentioned above we have several tournaments in the college. We have a cricket, football and a volleyball ground too. We also have a great kabaddi team.

No there is no hostel facilities and as it is near the city so people live in private hotels or as paying guests.

I got admission through the common admission merit list through ACPC. We have to fill up the common merit list form and select the choice of the colleges we want to apply to. The merit based admission is done in 4 rounds. The people jump in the next rounds. The 5th round is the offline round. I got my admission in the second round. Then we have to fill the confirmation fee and fill up the fees at the college. There is also a management quota at our college.

The faculties are great and helpful. There are atleast two faculties for a single subject and are very helpful in teaching and doubt solving. They also help in giving great letters of recommendation. There is also a feedback system for the faculties done anonymously by the students which is an active factor for the faculties.
