Course Curriculum Overview

3

Being an M.Sc. Data Science student, I cane across tons of problems which I had to deal by myself. In a semester, there were lack of faculties and we literally had to protest from hod to allocate some external faculty. But it helped me to focus on self studies which eventually is helping me now and I believe that experience is important in everyone's life because in future, we have to work by ourself, learning new technologies by fetching and reading materials.

Placement Experience

2

From semester 2 itself, the students will become elligible for placement trainings and by the starting of semester 3, companies will start arriving for postgraduate students. Also you have to complete an internship in the final semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is 80k for category 1 and 98 k for category 2 with a caution deposit of 3k for both categories. Having a cgpa more than 9 or percentage more than 90 in undergraduate will help you to get an scholarship of 50% of the tution fee.

Campus Life

5

Social life is too good here. I am an M.Sc. student so I hot very less time to enojoy the campus life as our sole aim to crack a placement along with learning all the technologies and all this in just 2 years. But for students taking admission in undergraduate programmes like B.Tech., this place is more than cool.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is kind of ok-ok. Actually hostel rooms are good, well ventilated, cleaned and fortunately if you are taking AC rooms then you need nothing more in life! But mess comes along with hostel and mess here is horrible! Don't fell in the gimmic of those youtube videos where they praise about mess food, I lived here myself and only able to get good food a single time everyday, out of the three time meals we were given!

Admission

At the time of admission, I had no more choices for pursuing a postgraduate degree in Data Science other than private colleges and this college had already a good reputation in market so I chose to be a part of it.

Faculty

4

The faculties are young, making them too friendly. And young doesn't mean they do not have experience but they have understanding to behave with students of different age groups. The exam pattern is very simple and straight forward, like any other board exams.

Night Life

1

Seriously speaking, there's no night life in this campus. You have to enter your hostel by 8.15pm otherwise you'll be fined! Even after the dinner, you have to stay in your own room to mark attendance.

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.
