Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is well defined and goes according to NMC. The college hours includes classes, practical and clinical postings which together make up 8 hrs. There are some integrated lectures organised by the departments which are really helpful for better understanding. But sometimes the working hours are a bit hectic .

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is 10lakh with 10% increment every year and 2 lakh hostel and mess fees with same increment. There is admission available for NRI with different fee structure. There is seperate fees structure for university exams which is taken according to number of subjects in that year. Top 5 students get scholarship based on marks obtained in NEET marks where they have to pay only hostel and mess fees. The fees is to paid for 4.5 years

Campus Life

5

The campus life is happening and there are several committees in the college like cultural, arts, literature, sports which organises various events regularly and provide a platform for showcasing the talents. Yearly fest, sports day, hostel days etc happens. College also employs trainers for sports . The teaching is based on presentations made by teachers which are projected.

Admission

The reason for choosing this college-: The location i.e pune is education hub and is exploring city The college had nice reputation and was newly built. The opportunities offered by colleges in the field of research are really amazing.

Faculty

4

The faculty is really helpful and focuses on concept based learning and there is one to one interaction in clinics specially. Faculties are easily approachable and guide us for the exams. The Ent, obgy, Anatomy , dermatology, medicine department are really good here and they give us extra exposure for clinical learning. Other departments are also fine but due to patient load they somw what lag. Exams are conducted every 6 months and then we have preliminary examination and then University examination. The questions level is moderate and college follows Muhs pattern . The curriculum is set according to NMC only.

Night Life

5

There are 3 reading rooms in the college and near the hostel for late nights. There is 24 hr cafetaria. There is gym near the mess with all the required equipments and also provision of zumba class twice weekly. Outside the campus there are a lot of pocket friendly eateries and the surroundings are safe and sound. The in time in hostel is 10:30 in week days and 11:30 on weekends and there is provision of out pass which is given after application by the parents. The staff is pretty strict about timings.

Remarks:

Positive: The college's infrastructure is really good. Negative: Being a private medical college, a lot of money is charged and they even earn extra money by charging unnecessary numerous times, very expensive admission forms and other expenses. Faculty is okay, selected few are only good. It is placed in a town which isn't well developed (Ahmednagar) There could be more extra curricular events and less restrictions for students living in the hostel, but there aren't.
