Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum seems up to the mark to me as it covers all significant aspects of study to be conducted in order to impart proper learning. Outcome of each course is very much set to meet the expectations of real world applications. Learning is practical oriented so not much change needed in teaching methods as it's very subjective.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are multiple internship opportunities provided but the students are supposed to be really interested and aware of the availability as it comes and goes without you even knowing so keeping in touch with the faculty is very important. Every year it varies from department to department but interested students can opt easily.

Placement Experience

4

Students can approach placements in their 5th semester and the eligibility varies every year but the eligibilty is basically the attendance and the total gpa of previous semesters. Companies like EY, Delloite, Amazon, ICICI bank and many more come in with their offers ranging from 4.5lpa to 9lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise for my course : 70000 It's inclusive of tuition, caution, admission, development, lab fees. Total fee for all other courses vary from 200000 to 350000. Scholarships are available for students belonging to all religions excluding Hindu only if the student has 85% in their 10th and 12th

Campus Life

5

Annual programs such a Kridostava(sports), Nrityanjali(dance), Ethnic day which is commom for every colleges nowadays. Technical festivals such as Xactitude for CS students then there are exhibitions and many intracollegiate fests. Clubs and groups are run by students enhancing the social life of the campus, theatre clubs, debate clubs, anchors association, sports clubs etc are run.

Admission

Considering my needs and requirements from the course I was satisfied by what I found about Kristu Jayanti College and opted for it. I did go for Christ University but due to transportation difficulties I did not accept the offer. Admission process is quiet seamless as the necessary requirements are pretty basic. As far as eligibility is concerned a student should have a min score of 65% in 10th and 12th. Eligible students are required to sit for an aptitude followed by a PI.

Faculty

4

The college faculty is huge as it consists of more than 1500 heads. Talking about the ratio I can say faculty-to-student is 1:5 respectively. Every other faculty member is very approachable and equally understanding. Considering my faculty I enjoyed learning statsitics from Madam Liji George I feel she knows what she is doing and gets what the students are trying to say in order to clear the doubts.

Interview Experience

4

Test pattern includes basic aptitude and general knowledge followed by a personal interview in which the interviewer can ask you to talk about a certain topic of their choice and ask personal questions here and there.

Night Life

5

College libraries arw ooen till 8'o clock in the evening and the college gym is accessinble till 7'o clock eve. Talking about about around the campus then there are multiple gyms to choose from, there are enough cafes to hop around looking for your choice of food. The pg's and hostel around the campus shuts at different timings depending upon the owners, for some there's no restriction and some are equally strict.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
