Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum im MIT MANIPAL is mostly EE practical more than theoretical.with this , a student is prepared for the real world applications parallelly for academic pursuits. I myself could not suggest the improvement for teaching methods because. Still iam in my first year. The time for exam is easily sufficient for end sem (3hrs ) but for midsem i don't think it is sufficient because it's is only of 1.5 hrs . The aspects that pushes me to choose this curriculum is the exposure that is given in MIT manipal

Placement Experience

4

The placements in our college are for better than tired to colleges because the average package for some of the branch of his like 13 to 14 lakh per annum and from third semester students here are eligible for campus placement and the big companies come here for intake the percentage of students getting placed here are like 72% according to 23 24 batch and my plan after getting a degree is to do Mtech

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly tution fee in MIT changes from branch to branch. My current branch has tution fee of 3,15,000 per year and the hostel fee also depends upon the facilities you take ( there are 4-5 different facilities offered ) . I currently pay 1,40000 as my hostel fees. The caution deposit you have to pay in MIT is of 15000 ( only in first year). Coming to lab fee and development fee , they are included in our tution fee itself and there are no compulsory charges during our course completion ( according to my knowledge) except for any events. The ofy batch mates also depends upon their branch and hostel facility they choose. Coming to scholarships offered by MIT manipal ( there are a lot ) few of them are 1.merit based scholarships in MET ( manipal entrance test ) . Students who get 1 to 100 rank in MET gets 100% scholarship. 2.acheiver scholarship. This is a scholarship offered to MIT students who score high in their respective branch academics there will be a 5-10% of wavier in their tution fee. 3.merit cum- means scholarship. This is a scholarship offered to the students whose parent's income in low . There is upto 90% fee wavier in this ( depends upon the income of their parent ) 4.scholarship of children of alumini of MAHE. This scholarship offers upto 65% of fee wavier in the academic fee. According to the facilities of hostels in MIT, anyone can adjust here . I mean where ever they come from. There are lot of foreign students studying over here. They come under NRI sponsered admission.

Campus Life

4

Has I am in my first year my experience of campus life is very good here and the clubs in our college are not that efficient but the student project here are very awesome and also the infrastructure is very good there are two two Big fests taken place in our college every year they are tech tatva and reveals techtatva is mostly about technical events and hackathons and rebels is of combination of dance music and other character activities and also the sports and extra curricular activities in our college are very good if any students run social groups and clubs or student portals including their impact of on student life is becoming independent here and also can get leadership qualities and more.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities in MIT Manipal has many types like AC ,non AC and also the price of hostel is very affordable compared to other hostels in colleges like Bangalore the facilities here are provided like common washrooms and attached washrooms and also the quality of food availability here is very good and taste and healthy also the menu will be changed every week the registration process for hostel and affordability can be done while getting admission here there are many rented rooms and apartments PGS around the campus but I prefer MIT hostel here.

Admission

I wrote different exams like JEE and bit pilani entrance test and Amrita entrance test. Among these . I could not clear jee and also BITS Pilani but I could clear Amrita entrance test also I choose Manipal because I could get a good exposure here and even the campus is very big I also got to know about this campus because my cousins are studying here the admission process for MIT Manipal is m e t entrance test which is of 240 marks after writing the exam we could select or branch according to our met rank

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio in MIT manipal is 1:20 mostly. The name of faculty I like is dr.siddharta who is the faculty of basic electrical technology. I like him because of this own and wonderful teaching style. I don't have any faculty I did not like in our college. Per sem we have only exams for two times they are mid term exam and the end sem exams . 10-15% students fail to clear then apparently they could complete the course in make up exams and not remain as a backlog . The exam difficulty level is not that high.

Night Life

4

There are many famous places in Manipal University in or out to hangout campus is the safe place to Rome around night but students are not allowed to Roman campus after 11:30 p.m. like the gyms and cafeteria and libraries are very good coming to gym there are like 4-5 big gyms here and many cafe areas and many cafeteria's the library of MIT is very big and the library closest at 11:30 at night my favourite place to hang or Hangout around these campus is MIT endpoint which has a best view of sunset.

Other Applied Colleges

BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
