I applied in mmmut,hbtu, iet lucknow, from these colleges I got admission in HBTU , I choose this college because of its legacy and thus college has very strong alumni network. In other college I don't get admission because HBTU is my first priority and I got admission in HBTU. Admission process - first I give jee main and after government positive results I applied in HBTU counselling. Eligibility for my course is 92 percentile and qualified jee mains

Course Curriculum Overview

I study in oil technology of school of chemical technology. In this course we study about edible oils and oil which used in daily life. Each year(2 semester ) we give 6 exams ,3 exam in each semester . 6 exams arranged in such a way that in first semester 2 mid sem and endsem conducted and similarly in second semester

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Various companies visited like Archer Daniels midland, adani Wilmar, unilever limited, ruchi soya etc. Highest package 15 lacs per annum and average package 10 lacs per annum 100 percent placement

Hbtu provide hostel for both boys and girls and facilitiy provided in room are one almirah two electrical switch board. Particular menu is follow periodically every week. Hostel fees is 63000, registration for hostel is available on college website

Faculty

Ratio of faculty to student is good enough and faculty student relationship is also nice. Faculty always motivate students and encourage for study and also help in personality development. Personally I think all faculty is good and teach juice and also do their job best

Night Life

One gym is present in HBTU and every machine is available for focus on every part of body. 4 cafeteria present in college campus. Public area is also available in campus. Boys hostel timings - 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Girls hostel - 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Kiet is good choice if you are keeping it in options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our autonomous batch there are more practical and project based subjects. There is one subject called design thinking in this we have to think of real life problems and empathize about it abs find or create solutions for them it can a whole new system, a simple app or machine or even a campaign as long as it helps society. There is one ihs subject also which promotes my branch (ECE) in pharmacy , like teaching about medical devices and technology and even our semestet projects are like creating portable ecg machine, creating automatic wheelchair, temprature- oxygen- heartbeat sensor abd recorder etc. It increases difficulties but also improves chances for placemenys in your 4th year if you are already creatibg such things in 1st sem. Frequency and difficulty of exam is moderate i think.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
