College review

See our college teaches various branches and technologies which are helpful in solving daily life problems ,in paint ,food, biochemical ,etc.technologies We have been able to solve various problems related to these branches,we also have networks with related companies also. Most of the time they come to seek help from our professors .Also we get to research upon these topics and solve real world problems. Areas of improvement can be the introduction of AI in our classrooms .also lab work and timings can be increased rather than just theory. Usually exams occur every month if we count mid and end semester exams.

Some companies like bajaj ,Putzmeister, Asian, berger offer internship with stipend between 20 to 30 k per months,while others do no give stipend like NTPC , shalimar ,indigo, Nerolac,etc. Most of the projects revolve around quality control and management etc.

Students become eligible in third year .just after they complete internships. There were several companies visited like Asian paints,Bajaj Auto ltd. ,Honda,Hero ,Yamaha,TVS ,Adani Wilmar,TCS, Infosys Maruti Suzuki.,etc. each of the company select 3 to 4 students .Maruti Suzuki hires 10 to 15 students .Package generally revolves around 8 to 12 Lpa. Placement for Paint Technology students is 100 percent since last 5 to 6 years My plan is to get a job.

1st year fees was 1,35,000( tuition fees=75,000 + admission fees=60,000) Second year fees was1,27,700 (tuition fees=75,000 + admission fees=52,700) Third year fees was same as second year. And my final year will follow the same as above. There are two types of scholarship available for students: One is UP govt. Scholarship Other is fee waiver scheme offered by our college in which tuition fees is waived off.

There are several technical fests like Technikal,sports fest like Aagaz ,octave, etc. There is a large library in our college " Tagore Central Library".We have access to multiple research papers and journals etc. Sports offered are cricket, football, badminton, volleyball,tennis,etc. also we have Yoga subcouncil and Hobby subcouncil for recreational purposes.

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats. Counselling goes for three round.If not get selected, you can try last time in spot round if seats are vacant. Only students with jee mains result will get admission.

Faculty student interaction is quite good. Every body can approach them and are available anytime we want solution. I think the faculty is quite good and well educated in almost all branches. There isn't any particular name or reason to dislike them.I have good interaction with all of them. Each student has to study 6 to 7 subjects each semester. Relevance of the course is very upto the mark .since it's is considered one of the best college in India if it comes to chemical engineering.

Gymnasium ,library and cafeteria are available in campus itself . Students are restricted to go out after 7 pm. Campus and hostel timings are 7 am to 7 pm. One of the famous hotspot is ganga barrage and zoological park. Yes locality is quite safe around here
