Course Curriculum Overview

5

I course curriculum is very well designed. The booming subjects like AIML, app development and web development are included. The fundamental subjects like operating system, computer networks and cns is also included. The database management system is also another important subject in our curriculum. All the subjects helped us to develop many real world projects. The exams were conducted very frequently. Per year we had 2 semesters and each semester had 3 internals and an external examination. It difficulty is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

There were two internship opportunities given to me. I one of the companies I had worked has web developer intern with technologies like JS and REACT. In other company I had worked has software developer intern.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are very good in RNS Institute of Technology. There is dedicated department for placements. The training for placements begins in the 3rd semester itself. The training is also very good. The companies that visit our college are very good. Some of the companies that had visited my college are Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, LTIMindtree, HashdeIn and many other companies. The highest package was 52 lacs from adobe and average package was 6-7 lacs. The number offers made by major recruiters are 50+. The percentage of students getting placed are 90%+. There were 1000+ offers made by many companies. I'm planning to get job after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many categories for fees like CET,COMEDK and Management. The CET quota fees per year is 102371rs, the CETSNQ quota fees per year is 43565 per year and management quota fees varies from 3-7 lacs depending on the course one has opted for.The fees is even lesser for SC/ST students.

Campus Life

5

The campus life at RNS Institute of Technology is very good.Firstly I want to tell about the huge auditorium. It has a capacity of 1000+ people and it has Ac facilities also.Next comes the library which is very good it all high class facilities. It has wifi facilities with charging sockets in every table with leb bulbs. Our library has many systems which can accessed. It has all the books from all the departments. Each and every classrom has wifi facility with charing sockets also. There are many student clubs. Some of them are CAT, Synapse, Aura ,Dhwani and many other coding clubs. The fests are Kannada Rajyostava, Pantheon and Parichay. There will be many intra and inter college fests. There will be many extra curricular activities like planting trees, blood donation and many more activities. Coming to sports, there is gym in other also. The training is also of high class. Twice in a year there will be marathon that will be organised by our sports club called RNSIT Sports Club.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel is very good. There is security guard and wardon for both boys and girls hostel. The hostel food is very good and hygiene is also maintained well. The cleaning will be done daily. The hostel menu is also good. The registration is very easy. There are many PGs available namely Stanza and it is easy to rent. The rent ranges from 5k-9k.

Admission

I chose this college because I had finished my 11th and 12th from the same PU college. The pu college faculties suggested me to join this institution as it had good placement opportunities. I had joined this college it was within 5km radius from my home. And it had public transport facilities and it was very good. One of my cousin who studied in this college told me that this insitution was good and I decided to join this college. The admission process is very simple. This college accepts management quota students also. The institution also accepts CET quota students and COMEDK also. The cutoffs varies depending on the courses. The cutoff for CSE is below 8k for general cateogry.

Faculty

5

The faculty-to-student ratio is 30.The faculties here are very friendly and very kind. The faculties are always available and they treat us like their own people.Dr.Nirmal Kumar Benni is my favourite faculty because he is very supportive and helps us to clear our doubts in his subjects. There will be mentors assigned to every student who will look after the students behaviour and track the records. The fauclties will also help in the projects also.

Interview Experience

5

There was no groud discussion or interview or written test for my students who are acquiring admission from cet or comedk quota. But if a student is expecting admission from management quota there will be a small talk with the principal. It will be easy.

Night Life

5

There is gym facilities in our college that can be accessed easily. The libraries is of high standards with wifi facilities. The hostel timings is 10pm. The campus timings is 9 to 4(maximum). There are many hangout places near our college like Polar Bear, Indraprastha and High Drate. There is a gym opposite to our college.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
