Remarks

main negative point is that the transportation cost is too high. And buses are not is very good condition for such a high cost. Further college needs to put in more work on medical emergencies, not a proper service is available.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Since my University is deemed(to be) the course curriculum was designed to current needs of the industry. A graduate from my college can step into outside world with up to date knowledge. Exam structure is very organized any can bring out the best in each student

Placement Experience

4.5

My college provided a special program to make students placement ready. Soft skills were trained well. Alot of seminars were held to teach what each company expects from students. After giving a strong base to each student testes were conducted to make us better. Many small n big companies (including start ups) for all branches had come with nice packages n opportunities My University is not that flexible with internship opportunities

College Events

4.5

My University celebrated major events and had fests n intercollegiate programs every year. Entrepreneur events for 1st years to bring out their ideas Each department conducts events n games which enhances knowledge on respective subjects. Kannada rajyotsava was always a grand event, students from other states also participated very well 1 week event of food fest was organized every year in which food of each state was cooked (for hostilities) 1 week of inter department sports program was also conducted Another 1 week events like rainbow week with dress code of each color a day. Along with this women's day, engineer's day, science day, etc was always encouraged and celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is basically expensive. But for students who get a merit score or rank in entrance test had benefits of reduction in fee amount. Otherwise on general terms the fee amount is quiet high

Fees and Financial Aid

As per my knowledge students were not given much options for loans not had any instalments facility. And scholarship for my course was not available. Students who were doing post graduation and m.tech might have got scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

Jain University has equal interests in students extracurricular activities and studies. 1 week program of interdepartment sports competition will be held which includes all kinds of sports of track events and court events. Each winner is given prizes and cash for their achievements. Labs have all the standard equipments as per current needs. Latest machines for civil and mechanical branches. Latest systems for information and computer science branches Not the least amazing infrastructure of aerospace branch with everything that is necessary

Alumni/Alumna

We have any alumini network called Jain connect which brings in students of all batches and branches. All students can post their blogs on this page and always 1 can find help or job opportunities in certain cases from that network.

Admission

My college conducts a common entrance exam, I attended this entrance test (JEET). Got merit ranking n hence got my seat easily. In my batch luckily CET ranking was not considered so my JEET rank was a plus

Faculty

4

We had one of the best set of faculties who can guide us with their best to bring out the best in us. Faculties were student friendly and can be contacted without any haste. They always made sure it was rather an interactive session than just a classroom

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
