- Reputation and Academic Excellence: The college has a good recpord of producing graduates who perform well in competitive exams and secure good placements
- Experienced Faculty: Experienced lecturers and professors help and counsel students with their expertise
- Infrastructure: There are well equipped lads, library, gym, study areas and wifi accessibility throughout the campus areas
Dislikes
- Placement support:Placement oppurtunities can be limited especially for technical skills courses
- Limites post graduate options: There are several undergarduate programs but limited post graduate programs offered
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well structured but its relevance can vary depending on the level of program /coursce applied. The science curriculum provides solid foundation in subjects like physics, chemistry , biloogy etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was 3000/- per year for a 3 years degree B Sc (PCM )course that I paid which is 9k totally. The other courses like Computer science were expensive like 15k per year comapritively. The tuition fees were seperate which were approx. 5000 per month for all subjects which I had taken for the final year of my degree.
Campus Life
Overall my experience at the college has been incredibly fulfilling and satisfactory.The balance of academic excellence,social activities and infrasturcture makes it a suitable place for personal and professional growth.
Admission
I choose this college because it had a good rating and the courses i was looking for was appropraite. It was well structured in terms of curriculum and theory courses or programs offered. They offered good campus facilities too,a cademic ratings and reputation .
Faculty
Faculty in Chowgule college are generally known to be approchable and student friendly. Many professors maintain an open door policy which means that students can meet them outside of regular class hours and get guidance on exams,assignments or study help. Exams at the college are manageable but can be difficult if not kept upto the syllabus.The failure rates are moderate, there are remedial classes for those weak or struggling.
Night Life
The college is surrounded by a lot of cafes, hangout places like bistros, restaurents, coffee shops etc. It is pretty peaceful and safe even at night to hang out with friends and in mates. I personally love the campus with cafeteria etc..
