Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course of BSc in physics because it was in line with my career goals and what I had set in my mind. The faculty-student ratio is good and every student gets a good amount of attention, your doubts will be heard and resolved completely and to the best of the abilities of the professors. Teaching methods utilized by the University are elite and top-notch, the faculty clearly knows what they are doing and approach their work diligently and makes studying and understanding the subject matter for the students a lot easy and understandable. Exams were timely, and the papers are neither hard nor easy. But yes a certain level has to be set so the examinations are held accordingly so that the individual can be judged well to see if he/she is gathering the knowledge imparted by the educators and doing further self study at home, well or not.
Placement Experience
Don't expect much when it comes to placements because yes companies are there but you have to be ready for them and work on yourself too ace the interview and selected. The career counselling committee helps a lot with helping you find the right approach of how to find a job after you finish your graduation or what to do once you have completed your graduation, that you should look for a job or acquire more skills and how you can accumulate more skills they tell you everything. But you should be willing to spend that much amount of time working on yourself too.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no fee hike that I encountered during my time in the university, the course was very affordable. No scholarships were awarded as far as i know or job on campus with a stipend but yes they do help you to find good internships so that you can increase your work experience and gain some real time industrial knowledge or practical knowledge in laymen terms so that you are ready for the outside world when you graduate.
Campus Life
The university is an autonomous University and both technical and non technical cultural activities are done really well and we have a lots of fun during them. Tathastu is a pretty famous cultural event that the university organises and is pretty well known all over. Libraries are easy access and you can issue the books and journals there without any inconveniences. Classrooms do have AC in them, not all the classrooms but yes, most of them do have an AC. Sports and extracurricular activities are given equal importance on the campus too, the university has an NCC army infantry unit and NSS group too. Students take part in futsal badminton and table tennis tournaments too on intercollegiate level. The university has a beautiful football ground and very well made and maintained futsal court and badminton court. The university has student council and event organising committees too where elections are held for it respectively. It gets pretty insane but fun too at the same time.
Admission
The admission process was pretty straightforward forward, hassle free. Purely based on merit and the marks you received in your 12th standard were taken into account for the respective specific course/field you are choosing. Application forms can be found online on the college's official website around the month of may or june. No reservations are there and there was nothing that i found inconvenient about the whole admission process, the staff was very welcoming and friendly.
