Remarks
The positives of our college was less fees, quite good infrastructure, some good staff and the negatives were not good parking, no placements after graduation, no internship, no mentorship, etc. The sir were very helpful in beginning but not in the end.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum was Bachelor of Science in Electronics. We had 2 main exams, SEE which means Semester End Exams and ISA meaning Intra Semester Assessment in a year. ISA was of 20 marks and SEE of 80 marks. Each exam was taken after 2 months of teaching. We also had practicals. In FY we had 8 subjects then in SY we had 7 subjects then in TY we had only 4 subjects of Electronics. In order to pass minimum 40% in each subject was required.
Placement Experience
The placement and employment cell isn't for B.Sc Electronics students. I don't know why. No my college does not provide internship. That's why I have no experience at all about interview and all. Internships should be there in all colleges for better performance of students.
College Events
Many events were celebrated in my college. It was mainly based on talent and performance. Events like Astitva, Rendezvous, etc was held. Science day was held every year in our department that made students creative in their own ways. There was Fun week every year in December that was to make students happy.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for our department was quite good. It was feasible like on an average Rs 10000 which is normal for most colleges. If the fee was more than Rs 20k many students would have been not happy. The feasibility of the fees was good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship was offered to students who belonged to OBC and SC/ST community. The scholarship had like 80% of fee to be returned. It was a good scholarship. I didn't get it as I wasn't eligible. Other scholarships were for top scorers.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities weren't there mostly. The sir was very laid back for it. He wasn't enthusiastic at all. Gymkhana which was there for the students was rarely used by students as too much tantrums of sir. Honestly the worst sports sir.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network network and senior students were good and helpful to us. When we needed help we asked. But we couldn't ask always as we didn't make that much contact. Otherwise the seniors were quite helpful
Admission
I got my 12th standard results. Went to the college with all the required documents. Had to wait in a queue for interview. The interview was conducted by different sir and miss for different courses. I wanted to take B.Sc so selected Electronics in it as it sounded interesting. The interview was conducted. I got selected. Then I filled the admission form which was provided by the college. Then I went to meet the Principal of the college for interview. Then I paid the fees and got the receipt in the management office.
Faculty
The faculty of our college was good. Some members were good at teaching and some were not that good. The department of Electronics was quite good. It organised quite some events in the college. Hope that improves now. More events should be conducted by faculty.
