Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was aligned to my interest and learned a lot while pursuing it. The curriculum is related to the on-field practices and teachers also provide practical experiences by engaging us in the learning process. There are various presentations that are organised y teachers to build our communication skills. Our teacher who taught us Investment also made us invest in some stocks by identifying the various factors that are there to invest in any property. She started my invetsment journey.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fees for pursuing B.com at Gurugram University is approximately 1.5 lakh depending on your category. The yearly fee is aproximately 50000 . The registration or one time pay is 1500. There are certain quotas available to students from different categories or minorities. The application fees of Scheduled caste, Backward class from Haryana and Ews categories is 250 INR. My friends who belonged to other categories paid a lower fee than me due to the availability of reservation of seats and quotas. They got the amount reimbursed in their accounts approximately INR 20k per year. There were also facilities provided to economically backward classes by showing proper documents. The need of merit for reserved category candidates was less by approximately 10 to 15 marks and preference was given to students having a domicile of Haryana.

Campus Life

4

The college campus was very beautiful and filled with greenery. the annual events are approximately 4 to 5 per year including a talent hunt, Annual fest with other colleges etc. the students run social group and group for safety of women. there is a lot fo safety in the college for women as well as men.

Admission

I choose this college because of the fee structure. The fees were less than the other colleges in this field. The second reason is my friend who told me about the faculties that they were nice and very cooperative. The eligibilty is 45% in 12th board exams and there is a merit based list that is released online. If you are in the merit list you can get into the college.

Faculty

4

The faculties are very cooperative and approachable if we need assistance with learning and growing in our field they are very helpful. The faculty that I liked was my Tax Income teacher during my second and third year of my college. She was very friendly and approachable. She helped me a lot in learning income tax as it was my weak subject. There are 2 exams per year and they are of moderate difficulty. They are often related to the previous year questions but with a slight change. The exam are very relevant to the course curriculum.

Night Life

4

The cafeteria food is nice. The library has various books, including niches like literature and other departmental books. The environment is friendly and cooperative to the new students. The office team and college teachers are friendly and nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for BCA (AI & ML) at PIET is designed according to current industry standards. It focuses on practical learning through internships and hands-on exposure through mentorship program and industry visits. The aspect which made me choose PIET over other colleges is the strong industry collaborations, as PIET has MoUs with organizations such as ICT Academy and Code Quotient Mohali. These collaborations provide us opportunities to participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars.

With the consistent support of the ocs, students secure good roles at top media houses, PR agencies, news networks, and international media platforms. One of the alumni of JSJC works at India Today TV as a news reporter, another at ET TV, and another at NewsX Network. These achievements are proof of the strong network of the OCS with various companies and organizations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my course is related to medical field the curriculum of BAMS course attracted me a lot because it focuses on both modern and ayurvedic aspect of treatment of different diseases. The curriculum prepares me fully for treating the disease in the real world and becoming a successful doctor. There are some areas of improvement need to be taken in the curriculum is that the modern and ayurvedic techniques should be interlinked and the faculty need to make the students understand how they can treat any disease by using both the knowledge in a practical way. The exam timing is 3 hour per exam and frequency of exams is twice a month.
