An Institution That Truly Support Students

The curriculum for BCA (AI & ML) at PIET is designed according to current industry standards. It focuses on practical learning through internships and hands-on exposure through mentorship program and industry visits. The aspect which made me choose PIET over other colleges is the strong industry collaborations, as PIET has MoUs with organizations such as ICT Academy and Code Quotient Mohali. These collaborations provide us opportunities to participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars.

If you compare the fees of BCA(AIML) at PIET with the fees of other institutions offering the same program, then you will see the actual diiference between the fees of PIET and other colleges and universities. PIET also offers multiple scholarship schemes to support students who need financial assistance. Academic scholarships offered by PIET provide 10-50% tution fee waiver. Also, there are scholarship schemes based on sports achievements, cultural activities, wards of defence personnel, and single parent families.

Recently, PIET organized Pravaha (Alumni Talk Series); in this, alumni of PIET share their professional experiences. The campus life here is very active with educational seminars, workshops, cultural activities, celebrity interactions, and events like Maestros. Also, there are clubs and societies for students to join, such as MET (Make Everything Technical), which organizes technical events, which manages cultural activities, and Techvision Club, which focuses on literary events.

The admission process is easy; the whole process is online. Apply online through the official website of PIET and then upload the necessary documents and pay the fees. Ify you are eligible for a scholarship, then you can consult with an admission counsellor for the further process. The admission team is also very helpful and helps with every query related to admission.

Faculty is supportive and well-experienced, they act as mentors who guide students throughout the whole college journey. They focus more on connecting the theortical concepts of AIML with real-world application. Professors are highly qualified, but they are very friendly and approachable. The best part which i like the most is that they let us work on their research projects, they encourage discussions and skill development. Their focus is not just on completing the syllabus but on making sure students actually understand and grow.

Nightlife at PIET is peaceful; during college hours, there are students going from one plce to another, and the whole campus at that time looks lively, but after college hours, everything is so calm, and this can only be felt by students who live in a hostel like mine. Every day after dinner, my roommates and i sit together in a park near our hostel and play guitar and have a jamming session. Also, students usually sit in cafes and food outlets till late at night because the campus is fully protected by CCTV surveillance and a team of experienced security guards.
