Course Curriculum Overview

5

I would rate the curriculum highly relevant and comprehensive. Most of the topics covered are aligned with current trends and developments in the respective fields. Offering a solid foundation for both, theoretical and practical perspective.

Internships Opportunities

5

The university has strong industry connections and it's dedicated placement cell plays an active role in facilitating internships for students. Amity also collaborates with leading organisations in both the private and public sectors, increasing the chances of placement in internship that alligns with students career goals.

Placement Experience

4

The university has a high placement rate, offering 3 - 6 lakhs per annum depending on the field and specialisation. For psychology students amity helps with various internships and job opportunities like clinical psychology, counselling. Placements are facilitated in hospitals, mental health organisations, NGOs, schools and cooperate services.

Fees and Financial Aid

Academic fees of sem 1 for Psychology course is ?64,000 which increases every semester. Hostel fees per year is 80,000 with one time refundable compulsory 10,000 security deposit. There are no registration fees as far as i remember.

Campus Life

5

Amity university offers a vibrant campus life with a mix of academic excellence and social activities. Students actively engage in various clubs like Ami-cult (dance and singing), Ami-uncut (Drama club), Amit-litzz (Book club), Ami-psych (psychology club) and many more. Amity has a big sports event called 'Sanghatan' in which different schools of amity play against each other. There is also a big event called "Aminova" which is a three days event in which there are games, dj night and so much more

Hostel Facilities

4

In the hostel room we have a study table, a cupboard, a bed and shelf. The room is twin sharing and it's not that bad. It's pretty comfortable and easy to go to college without spending a lot on travelling The meal quality is surprisingly really good and the menu explores a lot of options. The registration process is really easy.

Admission

I chose Amity because it aligned best with my goals and offered a lot of good opportunities in my field. Amity is the best college for psychology. The faculty, the study material all of it is so important.

Faculty

5

The faculty is super sweet and understanding especially in the psychology department. There are 2 exams per semester - Mid sem and end sem, both of them are super easy if you study well. During end sem it's a very "board exam" situation as they take it very seriously which ensures that it is fair to all the students.

Night Life

5

There are 4 cafeterias in Amity which has the best food They have healthy options, Junk food and even jain food. The library is huge and they make sure that the students get their own peaceful time in their with so many different books from all the fields Famous hangout points like sunset point, small cafes outside the campus.

Other Applied Colleges

Manipal Academy of Higher Education - [MAHE] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Psychology)

I choose another college because it aligned better with my goals and offered better extra curricular activities and opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the subjects are Pretty relevant to real-world for example i have economics and psychology as one of my subjects and in economics for 2nd year we are learning public finances and indian economy i would say it is pretty useful. As for psychology the practicals and theory is useful is you are considering a career in psychology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Placement Experience:

The majority of students are ignorant of the college's placement cell, particularly those in the arts department. However, 50% of students from the prior batch of BA third-year students were offered internships in our program. The greatest package offered was up to 17 LPA, while the lowest package offered was 7 LPA. Some companies, such as HDFC and TCS, were present. College placements are not ideal, and only a small number of students opt for them. The vast majority of students opt to continue their studies. The college placements are average in general. My plan is to go for higher education after getting degree.
