VIPS - college life and everything

The main reason that led me to choose this course is my interest leaning towards law in general . The curriculum prepared you for real word application as you get to learn alot about the constitution of our nation as well as laws which helps us as in general public to know what's legal or illegal . The timing for external exams is about 3 hours .

As for my course, the placement cell is very nice . The biggest law firm of India namely , SHARDUL AMARCHAND FIRM is one of the big companies in the placement cell of law courses . Even there is a training cell especially organised to train students for placements and internships . The average package expected is about 5-6 L per annum

The fee for the first year students for are enrolled in BBALLB(H) course is roughly about 1,50,000 . The fee keeps on decling as the years passes . There are various scholarship programs provided by the college but most of them are mainly for scheduled cast and tribes .

Various annual festivals are organised by our college . This fest names SPANDAN was held in October . It was a three day event with lots of special guests . Many games and comdey shows were also a part of it . Before this fest , INITIO happend it was a two day event which was started with a concert of Arpit bala on its first day and was later held with many motivational speakers on the second day . There are many social groups, clubs etc like Nss , legal aid , ADR , cultural committee etc

I applied for DELHI UNIVERSITY and various NLUS along with NLU DELHI and NLU BANGALORE . But I was not able to get into them as my score was average. Although IP UNIVERSITY is a very prestigious university and my college VIVEKANANDA INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES is the second best college in IPU for law and legal studies . To get into any course in my college you've to clear this exam called IPUCET and for law programs you can get into through either CLAT (preferably) or even IPUCET

I personally believe that the faculty is very approachable. I can't say on everyone's behalf but I find it very easy to connect with the faculty .I have a very nice relationship with my professors of quantitative techniques and english . I was once going through a very hard time because of some family matters and not only these two professors buf the whole faculty was very understanding of my situation and helped me with my left out syllabus. There are two exams : a) internals which are of 40 marks in total including PSDAS and attendance marks b) externals , these are of 60 marks . The level of exam is moderate and they're easy to pass if you've studied enough

I'm not very sure about the night life but when I attended the concert it was a bomb. There are two main cafeterias in our campus along with one nestle and one amul's shop . There are many hangout places near our college in pitampura and rohini . Even majnu ka tila is not very far from our college
