Course Curriculum Overview

4

Specific aspect of curriculum that influenced me alot is experiencing the industry. Internship is the best period where one can get real knowledge related to industry as well as the experience which is very helpful in future. Curriculum plays very vital role in preparation of student in real world applications as we can see the curriculum which is taught in lectures have there practical applications in industry which are very much important. There can be more skills added in the curriculum so the student can get more exposure. The frequency of exams should be monthly with moderate level of difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are many internship opportunities available in the college . One can work with faculty as a research fellow also due to large alumni network there are internship programs going on in the college. There are projects conducted with the help of industry experts to guide the students

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for internship from 5th of semester then for the final placement students from last semester are eligible. There are many core , non core companies visit for campus mainly tata technology, cognizant & etc. The highest and average packages of every year differs due to industrial requirements . Above 80 percent students get placed in the campus placements. My plans after the under graduate degrees are to pursue master degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am student from OBC category . In our college for general category student fees are 115000 something per year. For students from OBC - NCL category there are less fees which are approximately 56000 rupees.

Campus Life

3

We have ensemble named annual festival which is biggest festival of of our college. The library hours are very useful as all books and journal are accessible to all students of college. There are also small small events conducted on monthly basis which are very fun to take part in.

Hostel Facilities

3

The facilities provided in the rooms are comfortable beds , study table, chair , hot water for utility purposes, wifi , student game areas to have fun after college hours . The meal of mess has very good quality .

Admission

There were many colleges i can get admission into due to my mht cet and jee mains percentile. I have selected this college as i got acknowledge in second cap round. I choose this college over any other college due to crowd of this college. I got several rejections while choosing a good college my marks to complete the eligibility criteria of those colleges were not enough. The admission process is very easy not much time consuming unlike other colleges. Mht cet is the state entrance exam which is mainly accepted. Also jee mains percentile is acceptable. You can always check the latest eligibility of these exams on college portal.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is 1: 20 in our college. The student and faculty relation is very healthy, faculty is always ready to help students also they are always approachable. Each and every faculty is good but specially our head of department dr. V.R.Deulgaonkar sir are very helpful. They guide us in each and every aspect. There are no reasons to dislike a faculty because they always give there best. There are 2 main exams which are in semester and end semester having 30 marks and 70 marks respectively . There are monthly unit test conducted with moderate level of difficulty.

Night Life

3

There is no night life thing in college campus and also near the college campus. There are student clubs which are mostly open till late night , students working for competition are present for their extra period of work to put in the clubs. Hostels are very strict about their closing time as they gates of hostel closes at 9.00 pm sharp. In case of emergency this time is flexible.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
