My words about MMCOE

As I got the admission in 2022 at that time the college is under the Savitribai Phule Pune University so the curriculum offered to my batch is of sppu and it is designed by the University itself it offer 40 subjects for whole course in the subjects are mainly application oriented and deliver us proper knowledge for application in real world problems. In this curriculum we have to give five exams per semester which includes two major exams (Insem&Endsem) and 3 minor unit tests. But for now the college has the autonomous facilities so the curriculum offered for current batch is designed by college itself. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and you can pass them with everyday studies and by attending lectures regularly.

The internships are mandatory to do as the part of curriculum offered by the college you have to do two free internships in your third year. There are many internships offered by the companies tied up with the college itself I have done my first internship from YBI foundation in data science. The second internship which is paid is offered by college itself under the TATA group of companies. In the the paid internship I have to do the job of system management where I got this knowledge about systems runned in such companies. The stipends are minimal but sufficient.

College has really good placement record from the last few years and has the multiple placement. offers at campus for each and every department. As college has the dedicated TPO cell. There is an 88% of placements done last year. There are several recruiters visited the campus such as Wipro, cognizant, Infosys ,TCS ,Accenture ,tech Mahindra, persistent ,Mercedes Benz ,polycab,Tata motors ,Microsoft etc. There is a well maintained placement records for each and every department at Marathwada Mitra mandal's College of Engineering Pune. The average package offered last year is of 5 lpa. Highest package offered last year is of 20 lpa. I will go for higher education after completion of my bachelors degree as I am preparing for the GATE examination.

For me at mmcoe the tuition fees is of rs. 54000 and there is an extra curricular fees of rs. 8000 which includes library deposit laboratory security fees exam fees sports facilities deposit in my case my admission is under EWS section so I get half fees scholarship but the fees for general students is of rs. 180000. •Scholarship offered at mmcoe- Government scholarship for students from categories such as SC, ST, VJNT,OBC,SBC,SEBC,OPEN can apply them from Maharashtra direct benefit transfer portal (MAHADBT) by online mode. •The institute also offers some financial aid to the brighter students which helps them in their fees there is only criteria for this scholarship is of merit.

The MMCOE offers vibrant campus life enriched with several cultural and technical activities. There are multiple technical and cultural festivals and activities are organised by college. The main annual festival at mmcoe is name as ENSEMBLE which is an festival full of technical and cultural activities such as multiple days and technical activities such as hackathon, Shark tank, activity funding startup ideas etc. The college has several technical and cultural clubs in the campus. Here are some of the technical and cultural clubs such as BAHA, Abhedya racers,IEEE,CODE,GDSC,Robocon,Vajra(Drone club),Shabdapremi, Student welfare club etc. This clubs literally use you the values and experience is in real world opportunities.

The college provides separate hostels for both boys and girls the girls hostel his named as Godavari and the boys hostel his name as devgiri both the hostels has their separate mess. As the hostel charges the annual fees of 120000 which gives the facilities such as single bed, cupboard, study table with chair, laundry service once in a week, free Wi-Fi across the campus, the mess is also included which offers four meals a day which includes breakfast, lunch ,snacks ,dinner. The quality of food at college mess is pretty acceptable and hygienic. As you can register for hostel during your admission process in my opinion the college hostel is very affordable and gives you many facilities. There are many localities and many options available around the college campus for both boys and girls PGs. The rented Apartments are also available around the college campus. But the rates are pretty high. In my opinion you can consider rented apartments at some distance from the college where you can get cheaper options.

As I mention before I also applied for mitwpu for mechanical engineering department but the main reason behind choosing the mmcoe college is the fees required at MIT is pretty higher compared to mmcoe and as I consulted with my teachers I got to know that the mmcoe delivers better knowledge with minimal amount of fees. Also MMCOE offers multiple scholarships programs compared to MIT that's why I choose mmcoe over the MIT college.

At marathvada Mitramandal College of Engineering there is a mentor faculty for every 20 students batch which mentors them in all the aspects which are there educational doubts, for personal reasons at college hours. The faculties are really approachable during the college hours they help you often with your doubts and problems. Many of the faculties at mmcoe are PhD holders and have expertise In their particular subjects. My favourite faculty at mmcoe is dr.Alka Sawaikar. The main reason is she teaches physics to the first year students she is also my mentor at mmcoe with her guidance I got a really good knowledge and direction to my learning.

There is not in interview conducted during the admission process as I got admission from my cap round so the process is not so complicated and conducted by the college itself the thing you have to do during the admission process is that you have to fill the admission form and there are 9 steps during admission process which includes the registration, cprn number allotment, fees payment, document verification, document collection, ID card allotment, and hostel registration. With the steps can complete your admission process at mmcoe.

The college hostel provides free Gymnasium to the students which is well equipped. There is also a common library open at night time for study purpose to the students. The college hostel has its own study room which is open 24 hours. As college has provided free Wi-Fi within College campus students can use it for study purpose only. There are multiple paid Gyms available in the area. There are multiple spots for hanging out such as Cafe Peter, cafe pass time, dominos, Pizza Hut, and many local restaurants and food chains are also available around the college area. The college hostel has the in time of 9:00 p.m. which is mandatory for both boys and girls if you have permission letter with you then you can come after in time. There are no security threats in the area you can Roam freely at night time in the area.
