Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is to the point of real world applications. It helps us in clear understanding of how real world works and provide better guidance The frequency of exam is based on the unit completion and the difficulty level is intermediate

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for this course is 2,89,000 Should be paid in 3 instalments as 83,500 Registration fee is 2000 is deducted for lifetime alumni membership Caution fee is 5000 but 3000 will be refunded back to students and the leftover 2000 is deducted for lifetime alumni membership Students can avail sorts scholarships, cultural scholarships and alumni referral scholarships No additional fee is collected other than the mentioned fees in fee structure

Campus Life

5

It has grand annual fest Gardenia which is held for 3 days. Other sports and extracurricular activities are also offered. The library is filled vast variety of books, journals etc available during college hours. The classroom has smartboards for all interactive sessions, presentations etc. They also have Gcu portal through which students can view their attendance, upload assignments, complete assessments like quiz etc, apply for leave applications for hostellites and students can also pay their fees through the same portal which is easier than waiting for your turn in long queues in fee counter

Admission

This was the first college I have applied for and I got admission very easily. I choose this college because of the course availability and it doesn't need any other competitive exam for the admissions, just completed graduation in life science field. The overall admission experience was excellent because you will have a person to person interaction to guide you throughout the admission process

Faculty

5

The faculty to students ratio is more and the faculties are friendly and approachable. I personally like my pc because of how understanding she is and her way of teaching is really helpful. The exam systems are conducted through online mode no writing exams . For every unit there will be quiz conducted and the marks will be considered for the total which helps us to analyse how much of the subject we have understood. They also provide coursera course as a part of choice based assessments

Night Life

5

As I'm a day scholar student I don't stay around that area so no idea but you have lot of options like gyms, cafés, shopping marts for groceries, clothes etc in nearby . At night time I guess it's good considering the environment around that area. You also have lake right in front of the college for relaxing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

Main highlight is that they provide campus placement. Which is very usefull for all the students. That made me more attracted to the college. This college curriculum actually help us in many real life aspects were we make our own decision accordingly. Timing of the college for different course is different like for masters students it's from 9 to 4:30 which they made the schedule as we will be working after masters so they are making us to work like office schedule time which is really helpfull.
