East or west, SRM is the best

The curriculum is designed to not only educate you theoretically but also practically. We use the best textbooks and articles in the field for particular subjects. The teaching methods are interactive and at a good pace. We move forward only when everyone has understood what was taught. We get assignments and regular tests to assess us continuously and regularly our feedback is taken to ensure that we are satisfied with our classes

So yearly fee is 1,75,000 and there are other fees like examination fee, hostel fee, transportation fee,etc which varies. Since i a am NRI i pay double the tuition fee per year. Hostel fee varies according to hostel. I stayed in M block hostel which was the most expensive of all hostels there. There is a scholarship for students of Perambalur constituency because the founder is from there and it is a full scholarship based on academic performance.

Campus life is great. My college time is till 4 pm but somedays i come back to campus to explore their clubs, their events, there is panacea for medical students, aarush for engineering, milan, etc. During onam and pongal and holi, whole campus celebrates. We never felt like this was a boring or mentally draining place because this is where student college life took its meaning

So i didnt apply to other colleges, i applied only for srm because a lot of my family members have studied here and it is a family trusted institute for generations. All my relatives who studied here are in wonderful professions and are earning very well and are also considered one of the best in their fields. This is the standard of srm, and i joined to be a part and testiment of that legacy and i have no regrets and have full faith in choosing srm

There are so many faculty, 3 faculties for every 200 students. They are very friendly and kind to students. There is good communication and raport with them. All of them are good. Especially our dean sir. When it comes to exams, there is Internal assessment 1 and 2 and a final sem exam. 80% attendance is mandatory to appear in final sem exam. Syllabus is so good, you wont find a syllabus like this anywhere, it will help you anywhere you go for further studies, whether its here or abroad. We have regular clinical training in srm hospital. We have a fully equiped sports lab. We have research facilities. Many students have done research and published it while in 2nd year or 3rd year.

Night life is great. There are so many food places in and around the campus. My favorite is ark bistro. A nice hangout spot is puttopia, there is a good kuluki place also opposite to it. The locality is safe to roam around at night
