Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechanical engineering because I had interest in mechanics and maths , they are not focusing on applying application they can keep labs practical, teaching methods ,exams go for around 20 days and are easy

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 275000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many interesting internship provided by srm and other companies but most companies are fraud they don't even give certificate just scam you and take money and srm also asks you to make many projects

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees 275000 , registration fees 10000,if you do by management they take a round 1 lakh, semester fees around 3.5k, same fees for everyone, scholarship for those who rank under 72 in srm ktr , but we must maintain 9+ cgpa throughout college

Campus Life

Technical fest, cultural fest keep on happening everyday in srm faculties and faculties are good and friendly but not good at teaching, sports are good only for students who come via sports quota not for others

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room is small but charging around 1 lakh we can't use iron box or even any electronic gadgets and register is also very different from any other colleges outside taking hostels or ph is far better than staying in

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

Good process and I applied by even vit but it's a big process as compared to srm ,i got vit Chennai bit i chose srm over it because srm ktr is the main branch and many companies come here for placement

Faculty

Theya are good with everyone, but some are not good at teaching they teach with ppt no application oriented teaching anyways they will try to pass you , but main thing is attendance maintanence above 75 percentage

Night Life

Patyela hotel there are many things to go nearby and do we can go uptil 10 pm in library But must take letter from srm hostels but at the sametime there are many ganja smoking spots nearby which can addict everyone

Placement Experience:

As for placements, the students are eligible from the beginning of third year (5th semester). Our college have tied hands wuth some good companies like TCS, UST, CTS, Infosys, Zoho, Wipro and many more. The average package is 6LPA and the highest is 30LPA. 90% of the students gets placed in our college each year. I'm confident that before getting my degree I'll get placed so after getting my degree I'll jiust continue to work for a year and after that i have many other plans which isn't related any of the IT department or software.

Placements were too good in DACE. They also provide training for students who opt for higher studies or civil service exams. For higher studies, they give gate training. For the civil service exam, they give specific training for students to join government jobs. Other than this very good MNC companies with high packages will come to DACE for recruitment.

Remarks:
