A Comprehensive Guide to life at VVCE

The curriculum is apt for the oresent industrial needs unlike the traditional educational system. Special training sessions are provided for subjects like DSA so that interview cracking becomes easy. Exams are not veey hard but includes application level knowledge to clear them. Teaching methods are good but some subjects have to be aligned with lastest trends.

Incubation centres are Presnt to bring your startup ideas to life ans internships can be availed from there only. TCS, Infosys, Wipro offer internships. Paid internship at Mercedes BMW and so on is available.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th sem.. However some top companies like HPE comes in 4th sem itself. Flipkart visits but no students got selected. Highest package is 27LPA this year at JustPay. Average package ranges from 4 to 5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE stream is high with 70% or more. I plan to aim high package offers from placement drives in campus.

Every year fee of Rs. 1,07,600 ia to be paid for CSE stream. It is inclusive of tuition fee, exam fee and all other charges. Fee conssesion for category is available upto 80k. Scholarship from college for meritorious students.

There are about 40+ clubs ranging from Google developer group, open source labs, Toastmasters, coding clubs, dance music sports and many others which are by students itself. Yearly fest of Vidyuth happens for 3 to 4 days in grandure. Top celebraties come to campus to perform and ita the most beautiful event in Mysore.

I applied to some colleges like JCE, NIE for CSE stream only. I git rejected due to lessee KCET rank. However i made it into VVCE which i feel is personally better in line with teaching trends and placements comparatively

Faculty to student ratio is good. Schemes like peer tutoring sessions where peers are paid by college on hourly basis to upbring the students who are weak in academics is really helpful. This makes almost all studenta to pasa with very less failing percentage whixh is negligible. Some faculties like Dr Chethana, Dr. Nithin are very resourceful.

No there's no GD or Interview. Kcet examinations are the way to get into the institute. Rankings of the Kcet exam is considered for the intake..however the ranking cutoffs vary from branch to branch..

There is free gym facility open all times during the day. 24/7 OSL labs ans great Library. College timings range from 8 30 am to 1 pm on regular days and when there is labs in initial semesters it can go upto 4pm. There is CCD and food court which is most preffered hangout spot.
