Course Curriculum Overview
Course is very good and learning process is enhanced year by year. All the syllabus changes and Even the new subjects such as GST etc. Are introduced. The exam process is very good as it aims at lessening the burden of students by dividing the examinations into mid semester and end semester exam
Placement Experience
Placement, internships, job opportunities etc. All the done according to their respective departments. All the placement forms, examinations are notified to the students through notice boards and the may apply accordingly
College Events
Xavier utsav the grand annual fest. Various dance programmes and events take place. Also NCC events and national festivals are celebrated. Being a missionary college, st Xavier's College also celebrates sarhul, Easter and Christmas in a cheerful way
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is moderately expensive because according to me some people cannot afford 50k annually for their wards for only graduation. Apart from these i feel examination fee is also expensive
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship to all the students belonging to the backwards classes and scheduled Tribes and scheduled castes. They only need to collect a Bonafide certificate from the college and fill up the scholarship form. After this, their whole fees is refunded to them in their respective bank accounts
Campus Life
Being a commerce student I've no idea of the labs of science department. But the commerce department lab.i.e accounting and taxation lab is well equipped with modern system as well as air conditioners. The teachers are helpful and academics is pretty good
Hostel Facilities
Hostels here are all private hostels as college hasn't provided any hostel facilities to girls. Rooms are very expensive and not much facilities are provided. The rooms are equipped with cupboard. Study table and a bed of course, but the hostel owners are very greedy
Admission
I filled up the admission form in full confusion as i had no idea where to take admission after 12th. In the very first list i was shortlisted in the entrance test results. I was overwhelmed and took admission. And right now I'm pursuing my b.com from this COLLEGE
Faculty
The faculty are both friendly and strict. At the same time attendance of 75% is a compulsion. Which i personally oppose
