Seeing the future scope of semiconductor and related things I chose ECE. One can easily explore themselves in field of software as it is what everyone is doing in college and ECE makes you good in hardware. So both of these aspect is well explored in this course. However some improvements like working us on more real time projects and making us aware of work ethics in real industries will help us a lot. There is well structured plan for conducting exams and lab exams so it is not a thing to worry and also exams are really very challenging and copying and all will not help.

Internships are easily provided to students. Both On campus and Off campus internships are popular. All the big companies like Google, Meta, Flipkart, Microsoft, SLB, Jaguar, Samsung,etc. provide on campus internships. Internships are available right from 2nd year but it is difficult to get as one needs to be skilled accordingly but almost 60 to 70 percent students crack internships in 3rd year as now they have gained some knowledge. Based on these internships many PPOs are also made.

Placement opportunities in my college is really very good. There is lot of opportunities in core as well as tech companies. Talking about tech all the top companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Flipkart, Samsung etc comes for on campus placement. And for core companies like NVIDEA, SLB, Jaguar, ONGC etc comes for on campus placement. If not placement then one can go for masters or other exams like UPSC etc. 10 to 30 lakhs is the average package for different different branches. Like for ECE it ranges between 20-25 lakhs. Highest package in 2024 as per now is 66lpa. Also almost more than 80percent students are placed and rest are going for off campus placement and other things.

For 1st sem I paid 1.5lakhs which included josaa councelling fees and 1.2lakhs for 2nd sem. One gets scholarship based on reservation category i.e. SC/ST, EWS and those who have income less than 5lpa gets 100percent fee waiver. So one with these category will not have to pay tuition fees that is 1lakh. For general: Tuition fees: 100000 Hostel fees: 18000 Other charges

Dhanbad's rain and ISM combines to give you a mesmerizing feel and can just elate your mood in a snap of time. Campus is really very beautiful and well accessible with internet. All the hostels are equipped with LAN and WiFi services. Our college has Asia's 2nd largest tech library with some world class reading and self studying space. Our college conducts lot of fests and extra curricular activities like Concetto (tech fest), Srijan(cultural fest), Khanan(techno mining fest), filmfest, sports meet, Parakram, etc. There are clubs for each activity we want to explore like dancing, poetry, writing, speaking, narration, finance,coding,robotics, tech,quiz, NGOs, etc.

Hostels is provided by college after Physical registration. Amber Hostel is provided to 1st years. Aquamarine hostel to 2nd 3rd year and Jasper Hostel to 4th year. Room is shared for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year with a single roommate. Rooms are quite large in Aquamarine but small in Amber. Food provided at the hostels is really good and complaints registered regarding food is implemented quite rapidly. Special dinner is also conducted once in month or two. They charge us 18000rs per semester for hostel and mess. Hostels are well maintained and cleanliness is well taken care of. Vending Machine, canteens etc are also present withing the hostel only.

I scored 5069 rank in JEE Advanced and I wanted to opt for top branches like CSE, ECE and EE. The best option available for ECE was this college. Being best 10th IIT and almost about to complete 100years as college were two things which attracted me to this college. It has great alumni network is quite well reputed in fields like mining, petroleum etc. I was getting CSE in 3rd gen IIT but just for branch I would missed all those opportunities which I am getting here . Admission process to my college is through JOSSA after clearing JEE Advanced exam. You need to prepare a priority list of colleges with their specific branches and then councelling starts in various rounds and then you are provided with seats.

Our college is about to complete almost 100years so it is obvious that it'll have great faculty members. Some of them are there for more than 35years. However some professors are not really good and one has to take the help of YouTube to complete their course. We are also provided with mentor who guide us through. ECE being the toughest branch gets very interesting when one studies with the structure given by our college. We have to take up mid sem exam, end sem exam, and a quiz before each of them. Then we can also have to solve assignments if our professor gives. Also there will be separate test for lab and viva will also be conducted for the same.

Hostel is the best place in any college where you can chill out in whatever way you want in College. However during fests when late entry is allowed we roam around campus with our friends and enjoy the fest. There are 3-4 gym in SAC and also some hostels have their own seperate gym. Each hostel have their own canteen or a shop where eatables are present. Also while campus is provided with many Vending Machine to increase the product availability to students. Also there are many food outlets like Domino's, Mehzbaan, Barista etc inside campus only. Eating at RD and having its Chai is kind of ritual for each student.
