As far as we consider that textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge, and that is 100% truth. So in this case scenario, the college helped a lot and took initiatives for students to arrange industrial visits to Thermal Power Plant at Wanakbori, Gujarat and Nuclear Power Plant - Kakrapar in Gujarat. Also with the support from Govt of Gujarat, the students were given FREE 15 DAYS TRAINING at International Centre of Automobile Excellence in various technologies like Welding, EV technology, Smart manufacturing, 3D CAD Design, CAM, CNC AND VMC Machines etc. So this a very very amazing thing.

Dr S& ss gandhy government engineering college had a fees structure same as Government Engineering Colleges of Gujarat. It ranged from Rs. 1800 to Rs.2500 per year depending upon the semesters. The fees were to be paid on a semester basis after completion of each semester.

Campus life at Dr s and ss gandhy government engineering college is amazing. There are clubs like Mechanical Engineering Student Association, VGEC Rocketry Team, NCC Cadets are also rained in the college and many social activities by Prof. Dr. Vaseem Qureshi is initiated to make students aware about literature, art and English language too! The technical facilities and classrooms are not upto the mark as compared to private institutions but much much acceptable in terms of the conditions and working in a better way. Sports activites are also carried out, and social activities like helping blind students as a writers etc activities are also managed by student groups

Dr s & ss gandhy government engineering college is one of the best colleges in Gujarat. It ranks 2nd in terms of Govt Colleges in Gujarat and first rank is of LD College of Engineering. Every student studying in Std. 12th or Diploma Engineering in Gujarat once have a dream to get into LD college of engineering. But as the merit goes high, the second best option is VGEC.

The well qualified faculties are teaching in each and every department of the college the teachers holding phds the masters from nits and iits are guiding students a lot and igniting a spark of knowledge.

No night life i had celebrated as I always used to go back home after completing my college. But my friends who stayed in the hostel always used to travel around as there are lots and lots of cafeterias, restaurants nearby to celebrate some small events such as if someone clears backlog, passes exam with good grades etc. Hostel has a strict timings and if anyone is out of hostel one has to return by 8:30 pm anyhow or they may call parents / guardians of students coming late.
