Remarks

Campus is very good, greenery everywhere. Location of institute is near ganga river, just 1 km away from campus. there is health centre facility and BHU hospital. I have one regret, i.e hostel and mess facility. Institute management should pay more attention on infrastructure and better facility as per IITs standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum is very tough with respect to other colleges like private institute and local colleges to cover all the course we study very hard and prefer foreign author books to study the hard concept and we are all teachers a professor we get to know about difficult formulas and topics. Exam structure is very from subject to subject for example in all department there are 1 minor test 1 major test Some practicals some assignments and marks from class interaction. All exams are mainly based on the numerical problem or we can say the practical problem of daily life by which we can understand the problem easily and solve it out

Placement Experience

5

Our college stands in the top 5 among all IITs for placements. This college has a broad alumni base. For the top 4 branches, it has 100% placements. This year, the highest package offered was 1.5 crore for 3 students and 1 crore for 1 student. The average package offered to my course was 24 LPA this year. From many years, many companies that offer higher packages are visiting this college every year. Internship is provider by college with stipend of a range from 30k to 2 lacs per month.

College Events

5

There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not complex. For general category student tuition fees will be of 100000 every semester means 2 lakh every year and extra some question money of 9000 rupees in the time of admission and 5500 rupees for other administration fees excluding that 24000 rupees per year pay for hostel mess fees and hostel fees. So, I can say that the fee of IIT BHU is feasible amd not so expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are many scholarship programs which wood offered by our institute and some are from other aluminium network and government organisation. MCM ( Merit Cum Means) and many other scholarships under state and central government and also other private and non government oraganisations providing scholarships for OBC, SC/STs. There is provisions for various scholarships like mean cum merit. Institute has the tie up with SBI perhaps for the loan facility but not sure of it. But you can very well get the education loan for the same from any Indian Bank.

Campus Life

5

One of the most memorable campus lifes one could ever imagine. Full of greenery lush green grounds, well maintained playgrounds.infact there was a huge ground in fron of every 2 hostels. Overall 13 hostels with one big Gymkhana.Kashiyatra- the cultural festivalTechnex - technical festSpardha - sports fest.Apart from these major events there are events like dancing competitions, fashion shows, robotic warfares, computer LAN gamings are carried out throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility and mess food is very good in IIT BHU I am staying in Dhanraj Giri hostel in IIT BHU this hostel is around hundred years old and since you can understand how it looks like and the infrastructure is very bad unhygienic bathroom and toilet we use but the food is very good and hygienic served by people who know how to serve well.

Alumni/Alumna

The Institute organises the alumni meet time to time. Students here interact with them and gain the glimpse of corporate and business life. There is a platform also made by one of our alumni to connect with our alumni all over the world and discuss there experience.Very strong alumni network. We are stil in touch with our alumnis and they are really helpful in guiding you regarding prfessional experiences and all.

Admission

The undergraduate programs offered by BHU IIT include B.Tech and B.Pharm with various specializations to offer. M.Tech and M.Pharm courses are offered for postgraduate aspirants in various fields. Along with these, Ph.D. programs are also offered under a wide range of specializations. BHU IIT also provides 5-year Integrated courses in the field of Engineering and Pharmaceutics. Admission to the undergraduate courses is through JEE Main + JEE (Advanced). For postgraduate courses, candidates need to go through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). To apply for Ph.D., candidate must pass Master’s degree in relevant discipline.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
